Hmm, looks like it's way over the RRP then. AMD/ATI was aiming this card for $100 bracket IIRC, so the real selling price should be about RM 400. Guess getting one will have to wait.

Wait for a while the price will drop, drastically when the time comes.

Yeah, it's bad times. USD is getting exp/RM is getting cheaper, so although our graphic cards are still cheaper(than US) right now, without a doubt it will increase in price. Import... import to US is more exp I think than import to malaysia.

so so la, 650/1000 vs 625/993 in terms of gaming performance u can hardly notice much diff. but one thing i like is the noise level, at first i thought it was rosak coz no noise?? apparently the fan is actually spinning, but just so so so silent, it's hardly audible. another thing is the low temperature idle/load = 55c/75c . instead of reference 4850 cooler 80c/90c

actually ref 4850 can 55c/75c but very noisy

sapphire 4850 uses their own blue pbs which is a bit shorter den normal 4850.

2 bioses. If the one of the bios corrupted during flashing, switch to the 2nd bios.

I saw the Sapphire 4870 toxic in shop just now and it looks great with silver color heatpipe but it is different than what I saw on the internet since the internet review show it has copper color heat pipe.

that's why HIS made the iceQ4 cooler bro. low temp with-out the noise

Added on October 27, 2008, 10:27 pmoh sorry, forgot to tell. that is the HIS IceQ4 HD4850 PCB looks very similar leh i've searched through the net trying to figure if it's the same as the sapphire's pcb (coz wanna do pencil mod ) but apparently they are different
