got mine from LYP at rm3049 with sandisk 8gb. the first set sold to me were used by somebody coz the call registry recorded 15 minutes of incoming calls, went back and got a newer replacement. some of the new set lack of QC coz ive noticed of of them got a bad sliding part. always inspect thoroughly before get ur TP. add me to the user list. thanks

My new set (actually this the 3rd set) - first set were defective (detected at the PDA Expert LYP) sliding part not so 'ngam'. Second set not so new found out after checking the call out registry... so im using the third set. No problem so far...but i must say the voice call quality softer than Daimond. Not really that soft (eventhough i prefer it to be louder) - maybe firmware?

See the sliding part upper and lower part must ngam ..first thing you must check...screen protector not attached and the plastic still intact. Call registry also must check..

Anybody got nice casing for TP? I order from ebay screen protector...RM31.00 only plus postage. Two part screen protector coz issued ones not so good plus no protection for the bottom part

Actually not all TP abit 'loose' . Today i managed to changed to a fourth TP from PDA Expert LYP coz my last TP seems to be 'loose'. Im gratefull that PDA Expert LYP willing to entertained my request eventhough i already bought the set three days ago! I suspect during the first week every tom d*** and harry came in shops - tested the TP and half one them ended up not buying it. Imagine if theres 50 customer or so already toying around with ur TP before u purchase it.....surely something bound to be loose. Now my all new fourth TP is firm - not a loose part in sight! Got it at RM3049 with 8GB Sandisk plus after sales which focus on the customer satisfaction (change 4 times within three days) - i surely will return to PDA Expert LYP. My advice - always insist to compare TP at the shops and go for the best condition ones

When the keypad -slided in u can feel the resistance of the spring not that strong. Futhermore make sure the screen and keypad are properly aligned.

Actually loose keypad spring, not aligned issue wont effect TP performance - just that for me i need my devices to be perfect. Thats all. I guess nos of users out there dont really care as long the device works

Added on September 20, 2008, 8:12 pmSome minor differences between TD and TP. TD shinny and LED charger are gone. Eventhough the USB type charger still there but no more shinny/LED top - just plain matte plastic. TP softkey are much better and more responsive than TD. With standard ROM TP are at par if not better than TD 1.93 ROM - no laggy/sluggish issue here. USB cable on TP a little bit longer than TD. Stylus wont 'stick' to the side of TP like TD do.. maybe TP dont using metal casing??? TP is more comfy to hold compare to TD. Slip in casing for TD got better quality compared to free TP slip in casing.

Correction..after test it again it seems my stylus wont stick that well on the left handside...right handside okay. Funny ehh? Small issue anyway. Theres four PDA Expert in LYP and im only use to the ones facing Digi shop - ground floor but i guess all PDA Expert exercise the same policy -customer first

No tweaking for me coz i feel TP already responsive and next couple of months after newer ROM made available by HTC some of the bugs surely gone

Better use mp3 (trim use the trimmer) - choose a loud ones...myself no problem with ringtones

Value Plus 80 still can get all the freebies with TP @ RM2499 (not bad ehh). TD Value Plus RM150 can buy at RM1999 and Value Plus 80 at RM2199 with Free HTC desktop charger, BT headset, 4GB flash drive, 12 months extended warranty and car charger

Anybody plans to buy Piel Frama case? TP at RM325 each! Any other suggestions on leather case for TP? Thanks

Not really..u know why..TD being offered since last month at RM1999 ....yet PDA Expert and SIS still maintain RM2799 TP and TD is a hot item now...im not sure they gonna revise price that soon. Maybe beginning 2nd quarter 2009?

You bought a faster charger? Probably u bought TD charger with LED and very shinny right? TP charger should perform the same as TD charger - probably your TP charger faulty?

Bought myself PDAIR brown flip top case for my TP. Shall received it within a week or so. The next best thing money cant but after Piel Frama (actually cannot afford Piel Frama). I simply thinks an expensive devices worth 3K like TP should be protected with the best case. RM98 only from pdair.com
