Not too sure about the numbers available. Is this their terms and conditions ? Well, if there is a RM3 monthly charges, it would be charged if you are using the 8pax feature.
*
if you read the terms carefully, i mean celcom will charge rm3 for subsribing UOX plan, and another separate charge rm3 for subsribing 8pax feature.. so total rm6/month (if you subsribe both).

im using UOX about one and half year, so far they didn't charge anything.. i think they put it in the terms in case they can't make profit with this plan, then they will start charging those access fee.. (they don't want to be like Happy, suddently revise the rates (yesterday) without prior notice to the customer, because they can't survive anymore)..

so, at least Celcom already put it in their term that they have right to do so.. so customer must understand, and cannot angry. sweat.gif

by the way, it almost two years already after UOX launches.. and they still didn't charge anything.

so I guess I can port from digi prepaid to celcom UOX?
How about after I reach 25, can I port away from UOX? tongue.gif

Celcom widest coverage is tempting to me. smile.gif
*
of course you can.. there is no contract, u are free to port away at anytime tongue.gif

*correction: after you reach 26, not 25.

26? Great. I have more than 2 years to reach 26.

Can my digi remaining credit port over to Celcom? I wonder how the credit validity for UOX?
At least Digi prepaid plan (I'm not D'campus) allow my line to stay 1 year active with RM100 reload.

[You can choose to not answer me, once a while I do hope for spoonfeed too tongue.gif]
*
yes, my UOX will expired few weeks after my 26th birthday. tongue.gif

no, your digi credit will not be transfer to celcom.. because u pay your money to digi, so digi must give you service.. you cannot request celcom to provide service to you for any RM that you paid to digi.. blush.gif

and, it is imposible to ask digi to return your money and give it to celcom since it should be their revenue, why need to return it, furthermore to give it to their competitor shakehead.gif

there is no credit expired for UOX, since all your credit is valid at anytime until your UOX number expired (when you reach 26). so, no need to worry tongue.gif

however, to enjoy this special credit validity, you need to verify your myKad at any celcom branches.. otherwise, you will get normal validity (as normal xpax users enjoy)

Hmm.. They just gimme a normal XPAX simcard.. is all UOX sim card is like this or??

I thought there will be a simcard indicating is UOX or smtg else..

Can anyone here verify this? Thanks...
*
as far as i know, UOX simcard is the same as normal xpax simcard..

QUOTE(ujoewong @ Jan 30 2009, 01:52 AM)
err... if someone here is an iPhone 3G/2G user can confirm with whether CELCOM detect +601XXXXXXXX or 01XXXXXXXXX for incoming calls and SMSes.. As Maxis make it all +60XXXXXXXXXXX.....

Cheers..
*
celcom using +60XXXXXXXXX for all incoming sms, but for call, only 01XXXXXXXXXX

OMG.. Means i gotta edit all my numbers into 2 formats now... aisk.. i dun wanna jailbreak my iPhone... Thanks for information epool86.

P/S.. Still no MSG from Maxis or Celcom to tell me about any porting information.... aisk
*
im not sure about your iPhone, but all my phone (SE, O2, and Nokia) can detect contact name eventhough the incoming call come with +60 or not.. same goes with SMS. so, no matter which format i save my contact number (either with +60 or not with +60) still my phone can recognize the incoming call and sms.

in my phone book, half of them with +60, and the rest without +60. this is because:

celcom incoming call no +60, i sometime save directly the incoming call number.. so some of my contact number dont have +60 at the front. while, celcom incoming sms come with +60 and i also save few numbers directly from sms sender number, so these contact will have +60.

so...
for example..
im an UPAX user...
but A is an XPAX user and he is on my 8pax list...
so is it 1/2 cent or 1 cent i must pay for smsing with him??
*
nope, u can't add non-uox in your 8pax list.. so normal charge apply which is 15sen call and 1 sen sms.

the rate is UOX rate for call and sms
but the other one dun hv the 26 y.o validity
*
i think it is because you're still not verifying your other one UOX. if you try to verify it at celcom branches (to enjoy 26 years old validity), perhaps your new UOX number will be terminated lol... sweat.gif

uox still can port in now? i called celcom and ask their dealers that porting in is not possible anymore for uox. is it correct?

plus the validity now is only until age 25, not 26?
*
erm, i you call 'Celcom' then why you ask 'their dealers'? hmm.gif

by the way, so far never heard about it.. and the validity still until your 26th birthday.

what do u mean? if you mean ammount of reload available, of course they got RM10 reload.. they also got RM5 reload too. and if you're using online reload (such as mobile financial srv from maybank) you can reload as low as rm3.

the same question repeated again and again everyday.. tired to answer sweat.gif , maybe someone else could answer it for them after this huhu..

for validity issue,

anyone who still enjoy normal validity are required to verify their mykad at celcom branches, in order to enjoy no credit expired until 26 years old

for rm3/month monthly charge,

it is stated on their website (since two years ago, 2007), under TnC that they will charge rm3 as an access fee every month, and another rm3/month if you subsribe 8pax. but until now (2 years already) they still didn't implement it..

reload rm100, got free rm50 but valid till 4 march.. worth or not?

need to finish rm50 within one week.. no airtime transfer allowed.. and with extremely cheaper call/sms rates (UOX plan), it is impossible for me to finish rm50 free credit within one week.. sigh

just reload rm50 lah. RM20 free credit still difficult to finish rm20 in one week
but still manageable i think!
*
you know what i think, this bonus is like giving us free call and sms for 7 days if you reload rm100 lol notworthy.gif .. but limited to rm50 worth of free call only.

if u ask me, i face the same problem.. but only sometime.. usually at 9pm to 10pm... but most time, no problem.. every sms delivered on the spot..

maybe something wrong with your line.. i think you can call directly to 1111 careline (its free), and complain to them.. because if email it take couple of weeks to response lol..

this is celcom policy, in order to enjoy special validity period u need to verify ur ic at celcom branches.. otherwise u only enjoy cheap rates but with normal validity..

only few of us enjoy special validity without required to verify our identity at celcom branch..
