Try to display the Auto restart...in the System Properties, Advanced tab....it could be other software you installed recently...

I'm suspecting my ram cause there's few incidents where my mobo got the long beep sound when start-up.

Long beep sound means memory problem. Try to remove one of the ram or change to new one.
I summarize here:

Very short beep
This problem is linked to your motherboard
Else it can mean that you are facing a problem with your system memory (BIOS AWARD)

Short beep
No problem

Long beep followed by 3 sequential short beeps.
This issue is linked to your Graphic card configurations

Short beep followed by three sequential long beeps
You are facing a system memory problem

Beep- PAUSE- Beep- PAUSE- Two sequential beeps
This error is linked to your CPU

Three beeps-PAUSE-Three beeps-PAUSE-Four beeps
You have an issue with the video memory

Three beeps-PAUSE-Four beeps-PAUSE-Beep
This is linked to an error with your Graphic Card

Four beeps-PAUSE-Three beeps-PAUSE-Beep

I'm using Silverstone ST56F 560watt.. Running a 4870 just fine..
U need at least 500w and above kot to run it.. sweat.gif
But if u got a true, true power psu like my friend enermax liberty 400w i think u should be able to run it on a 450w PSU..
My friend can oc his C2D up to 4.0ghz plus use a oc'ed Gainward 4850GS just fine on his enermax liberty 400w.. brows.gif

I'm using 750W, but sounds like overkill. Yeah, a good and reliable 500W or more is recommended.

The highlighted should be the problem. My pc BSOD also shows "Memory_Management" at there.

u're right, but most of the beep code pretty universal.

@XiuKeong
check the led on the GC pbc.
if no issues wit the card, all of the lights shud light up a while (<1 second) during start up........much like the led indicator on ur mobo.

ps, did the problem persist if u only use single stick of ram?

Could be other reason.
If u're running other apps while gaming, pls turn it off. Especially antivirus sw.
If oc thru RivaTuner or ATI Tools, do completely close CCC.exe via Task Manager, they're conflicting with each other, for my case.
If u're dl'ing something using dl manager like FlashGet at the background while gaming & the pc suddenly restart. Pls reinstall ur mobo LAN driver, like my case.

@tech3910, as i see his setup he only using 1 slot of ram. Maybe switch to another ram and see or run some burn test. hmm.gif

@XiuKeong, besides the ram it also has another possibility that the motherboard component or capacitor spoil and cause the suddenly hang or restart.
