We do avoid giving milk to gliders. Most appropriate will be low fat yoghurt which has beneficial fats and calcium to the suggie. As for food, try holding it in front of her and see if she eats.

low fat yoghurt...ok will keep that in mind.....and for food, she ate pear this morning, one slice, and went to sleep...... cool2.gif

im not sure weather its underage or not....but i think its not TOO underage, cause she's quiet independent...walk, jump here and there and travel and explore the house....is this normal?....for underage joey wont do all these right?

What kinda food? Did you not research on diet? 1st page already have a list of fruits that can be given. Do not only rely on apples. Also, click my signature, got GliderSLURP, which is a glider supplement that can help with growth and health.

The key is to feed as much as it can eat, if it is fruits lah. If SLURP, only 1 tablespoon a day will do.
Post a picture please. Some sellers are not honest with the age.... by posting a picture, we can help you.

No, you should not give HL milk.

Do PM Reanne, she just bought a supply of milk that is very nutritious, more nutritious than Pets Own milk. It has colostrum and higher in protein.
Well, they poo and pee whenever and wherever they like. There is no same area.... and yes, they do pee and poo in bonding pouches if you have put them in for too long and did not let them out. Can roughly say they can poo and pee every hour or so. It really depends on the glider coz I have one that poo and pee very frequent, while another not so frequent.
*
researched edi bout what can give to eat..i'm just concern on how much amount...that's all sis...regarding the picture..i will send it tomorrow as today i didnt bring my phone cable..forgot.....i upload tomorrow then you guys please tell me yeah.....she's with me for 3 days now....everything SEEMS to be ok.... blush.gif

Well, 1 tablespoon is the best.... my gliders can eat finish 1 tablespoon. But if say you mix with veggies and fruits, then  don't have to be 1 tablespoon lah.... for me is coz morning I feed Slurp, night I feed fruits.... so this kinda gets them to finish up their food.
*
mine same like u.....morning the mix and night fruit.......but i gave only 1 teaspoon....im just scared she's sick....will upload picture tommorrow....

hello there luc smile.gif
welcome to SG world rclxms.gif

ur joey is underage. but do not worry, ive experienced ur situation before. ive bought female underage joey b4, and slightly bigger than yours.
all u have to do now is to get Wombaroo milk from pet shack, because pet shack is the only shop in malaysia that sells wombaroo milk.
no matter what, u have to give her milk (wombaroo milk is the best for underage joey/replacement joey) even one of our senior is using that brand for his rejected joey.

about ur joey is sleeping too much, its normal because joey mmg tido lame smile.gif

trust me, follow my advice, and u wont regret.
now ur joey got eat or not anything or not?
*
hi there hazzy,

sorry for the super late reply...well.....thank you for your advice...how much is the wombaroo milk?...and my joey now makan banyak...and non stop....she sleeps and wake up straight eat, then she sleep again...she eat alot i can say.....and very hyper too.....

i think then i buy the glider mix, i forgot to put it in freezer, and i think now basi edi......cause it contains yoghurt, egg....sure basi one!....damn!.....will get the wombaroo milk by this week...thanks man!!!! rclxms.gif

Added on September 15, 2008, 8:17 amprogress on my joey...

well..now days, less barking when she's with me....but when others try to carry her or touch her, she barks....its normal right...if she's in the cage, everytime i wanna take her out or put my hand in the cage, she'll bark first....then only she climb up....still not trusting me i guess....i hope she'll be fine...

oh ya..wanna ask...is there a difference on bounding pouch and sleeping pouch...i know bonding got zip, sleeping no zip...but i read somewhere saying that, never let joey sleep in bonding pouch...well...i usually take her for travelling, even bring her to office sometimes and put her in bonding pouch and she always sleeps there.....any advice on this?...thanks...

Yup, krrrekkkk is crab. U shud give her some treat like mealworm when u wanna take her out or approach her, so she knows u r friend not foe..
*
at first she will crab, but after 3-5 seconds, she will keep quiet, smell smell and she'll be fine through out the entire play time.....but when i stand or like want to take something, she'll crab abit....then..she'll be fine.....hurrmmmmm all i need now, is time and patience so that she can leap over me...hehe... biggrin.gif

Proper introduction! U can put side by side cage for them to smell.. Or introduce them in neutral grounds, so the joey u alraedy have wont be so protective over her things.. Wash every items, so no old scents.. See if they get along not? If ok can put in the same cage n more observing to be done, in case there r fights..

If not ok, they divide to own cage, see if they really ok d, let them play outside, let them share foods.. If all goes well again, of coz move both to same cage..
*
if not OK at all....hailat lor....mati gua!.........hurrmmmscared oso wanna buy new one...should get a pair la that day!......

No lar, if ur first one is really really bonded and tame, she will be a good example for the new one! Like Aurion case [why he never online these days r??], his Judy actually show the new fella Meegy how to be bonded to Aurion = meaning how to trust humans..

U must make sure ur first one r tame n bonded to u la, then she sure wont gaduh with the new fella wan..

oh like tat one ah...hurrmmm if that's the case.....i'll get another one...TRY la.....end of this month..hehehehe....now i got female..should i get male or another female?.....hurrmmm i dunno wor!!!!
