no la...she didn't sleep and 1 2 play around,on my table and on my CHAIR,how 2 sit?u imagine la,aiya...she really make me pissed off when i cant do my work..
today i left her at home...now missing her

I would say bite as she had her hands up on air when I slowly put my hand into the pouh then suddenly bite.

Told u before.... 1st method throw some treats into the pouch 2nd just leave her inside....
but.. I got another method as I'm facing the same thing again... =.="

Well... normally when she wan to come out she will try to bite the window begging me to zip if off to let her put but if i ignore her she will get bored n back to sleep.. but this morning.... she made it worst... I bring her to coll this morning and she keep on scratching and biting the window to come out... she keeps moving till I scare my lecturer can saw her as she hang in there in the window which ppl can see her if they just look into the pouch

So, I zip off the pouch and let her roam free inside my bag while I'm hugging my bag.... just a while when I check again she fall asleep at the corner so I decided to move her into the pouch as I'm having my test and I have to put down my bag.... but then.. when she knows I move her into the pouch she start behaving like that again... scratching n biting at the window... so heartbreak see her like that but I got no choice as I'm having my test n can't let her sleep inside the bag..... till I finish test she still struggle inside so I let her out again and she runs happily inside my bag... within few minutes can see that she fall asleep again and this time... she... 'tido mati' as she din even know that I had move her inside the pouch.. but she keep sleeping as she din feel anything while I carried her to put inside her pouch. I though this was the end. But then.... few hours later... she woke up and start those unusual behavior again...

This time... I kept thinking why she behave like this?? is there any chance that she dun like the pouch or she just wan to sleep out side the pouch?? well.... as for the conclusion... I put my hand inside her pouch and within a minutes she had fall asleep at my palm

Did this mean she a lil bit manja??? keep on trying to come out from the pouch but when I put my hand inside.. she sleeps on my palm..

Judy also does that at times. My bonding pouch window netting is slightly broken dy.

Wow, a little inside me I wish Frey would do that. Frey sleeps like a pig whenever se gets in her bonding pouch.

haha me usually put the cage in front the television while i'm watching movie....

but you don't just leave her alone lah all the time while watching movie loh,me will go nudge my Gino while in sleeping pouch while watching movie.

Thanks HAZZY, HUN n KP for ur suggestion about yoghurt.Everyday i put a milk inside my daughter cage bt they never touch it..n yesterday i giv them mealworm n they like it so much hehe.Bt y female joey more crabbing if compare to male ek?last time with my rocky n rambo they do crabbing lar bt nt as much as momo n mimi..non stop making noise wen i try to manja2 with them..or jst because they r female hehehe u guys no wht i mean right ops.

no larh, that normal, is their personality/temp i guess. because my Mika didnt crab at all if only i squeeze her like want to kill her than only she will crab, very good temp haih... i love her so much

i juz bought a low fat yogurt, dutch lady-mix berries(got real fruit pieces inside). dis brand & type ok o not? cos tonite wan give my Milly a treat. hehe....

my Gino also like this edi,even my movements fast also he don't crab loh like few days newly bought home

Anlene mango yogurt tastes very nice and my gliders go gaga over it. But the downside is the package comes in four packs and the other 2 flavors not as nice as the mango.

Thanks Hazzy! I'm so worried that working will kill my dream of getting a glider. xD. Do you have any advice for me on the bonding process? Since i'm a final year student for now. warh... u have enough time to get bonded with ur SG yup yup yup, once semi bonded or fully bonded, u can start letting ur SG roaming freely in ur room. but be careful when ur sg is fully bonded and when ur SG's nails are sharp! once their fully bonded with u, no matter where u go, they will follow and climb to u. (mine always jump on me the most thing i hate, she always jump on my face! ahaks why face!? ) lucky i know how to trim their nails. but if u dont know, dont worry about it, pet shack or Nail - O - Matic is the solution

anyway, it is suggested that u make 100% research and fully prepared with suitable cage,bonding pouch & sleeping pouch before u get a joey ya? please:)

hehe coz when human hv baby (the chinese mostly i think) say eating watermelon might 'drop' the baby >.< jus wondering if it works tht way to animals...

Gliders are messy eaters. Normally lah.... coz when they eat, the would chew and spit out the pulp.

Anyway, many of us here bring our gliders go Cinema also.... but normally when they are bonded or do not crab much anymore.

If Frey jumps back to you and climbs up your leg.... then it means she is trusting you. Can say is bonded but not 100% bonded lah. Have you tried being with her in another place like maybe a friend's room? Coz for my gliders, a few would run off to play rather than want to play with me or be on me when they are inside my room. But when I bring out for gatherings, it is a different story. They stick to me.

Defensive mode hahahah.... coz small spaces makes them want to defend themselves... that's why we need to be careful when we put our hands into their pouches.

What Dakota is doing is normal. Gliders normally like to be close to their owners.... and Dakota was like trained to sleep out of cages and pouches.... so that is why she wanted to come out. She wanted to be with you loh. She likes your warmth and skin.

What milk? Pets Own? Anyway, female being more crabby is not true. It is each individual glider. Normally it is normal for wild gliders, scared gliders and joeys to crab alot.... but once they are tame, you won't hear the crabbing sound much. My gliders don't crab anymore unless I really frighten them.

Yups, that's alright. Make sure you limit, 1 teaspoon is enough already.

For gliders it is ok. Animals have different gestations, digestive system and immunity, so it doesn't affect gliders.

HiHi...I'm back. This 2 weeks gt exam so wil b busy.
I gt somethg to share...DIY yogurt>> Cost is cheaper.healthier.

Ingredients:
1) Plain yogurt with live cultures.
2) Milk powder
3) Fruits n veggies
4) Honey

Steps:
1) Put milk powder in clay cup and add in warm water. stir it.
2) Take some plain yogurt and mix it with the milk...stir the mixture.
3) Put it in a dry place and wait for around 8-10 hours. {fermentation}
Now, u had DIY a yogurt. But, ur gliders may dun like it as it is plain.
4) Blend your yogurt with fruits, veggies and honey. U can also add in some chopped fruits. {It is ready to serve 4 human now}
5) Add in supplement(if u gt it). {Ready to serve for gliders}
*This is just a simple idea for you. You can always modify it bt it must be safe 4 glider. Can add in mealworm and chicken as well.

U can also bring it to college to give ur frens drink and even make money.
Dun 4get me if u really can use it to make money...haha.

hahaha...thanks thanks....yeap....have been doin research for months now and roughly knows about the diet, behaviour and of course the most important thing is commitment. Its like having a real baby! good training to future to be dad! well...of course having a real baby actually means more hassle than this...xD I live nearby petshack so, most probably will be getting a full set from them if i'm ready to own 1. Went there once and got quite some advice from them. Final advice from them is "MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLANS BEFORE GETTING ONE FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU NEED TO GO OVERSEA OR SOMEWHERE HOW YOU GONNA DEAL WITH YOUR SG?" scary~ but i guess that is very true...gotta tink properly 1st....anyway....ARIGATO AGAIN!

Well, when she's in my bf's room, she basically just runs everywhere although occasionally she will come back. But my bf plays with her some once a week so I guess she is acquainted with him.

Halo! I've got a question here. Can SG be bonded with 2 person at once?

Elly likes to bite me..it's usually when i'm handfeeding her..
when i withdraw my hand from her,she quickly grab my hand n bite bite..
painful wor.. but i didnt pull my hand quickly so as not to startle her..
usually she'll bite a bit then leave,but yesterday she bite until bleeding..
my hand got a lot of puncture mark..gifts from Elly..
waa it's been a month but she's still not bonded yet..my fault as i dont carry her around during daytime..
tonight i'm trying new method..i put her inside my sweater n i go around doing things..
she crabs like hell initially,but now sleeping so soundly on my stomach..
no choice lor..hv to do like this coz i cant sit in the tent with her all night long..hv to study..been ignoring my books for quite some time now to spend time with Elly..but she's still so crabby..
