Wah muchan, she become less crabby dy. Still pouch protective, can't cure her of that. Everyday take her out will hear a healthy dose of crabbing and when she go into bonding pouch will hear crabbing a while also. After that no.

BTW my bf and friend came to my place to help save my computer. She keeps jumping back to me when I put her on my bf and my friend. biggrin.gif rclxms.gif Damn happy now.

Some joeys like to sleep in their food bowls, it's either they feel more secure or they find the bowl of better comfort. LOL. Sometimes it's just food, eat till sleep.

Mealworms can be fed. Just intro to her slowly.

Choose low fat or if you can spend some money, go for those rich yogurt that's creamy and smooth. Greek yogurt is good.

Yeah I do, everyday now except the weekends when I'm working.

sad.gif So sometimes I feel I'm doing something wrong since she's behaving like this. sweat.gif So I'm very desperate to meet you and see what I'm supposed to do.

Sometimes during the day, when I'm just sitting down I will take her out and she will sleep in my hands.

Yep, like what jitshiong said, depends if you suggie is ready or not. Give it a try and see, if she doesn't take yet, give her time and try again later.

Brand, any brand will do.

Type, normal yogurt, low fat or the rich and creamy as Hun said. No fat is not as good.

jus wondering, if ur glider is pregnant can u still feed them watermelon??? my baby loves watermelon but soon she'll have baby as Dino is a naughty lil guy~~
i'm not doing my 'homework' about having joey~~

Huhh? What's wrong with feeding watermelon? Even when having joeys in pouch, I don't see anything wrong with feeding watermelon.

Just that even not with joeys in pouch, feeding TOO much watermelon is not good.

QUOTE(ekazakaria @ Sep 4 2008, 10:14 PM)
KP or Hun..need your advise larr...

My Pika lately become really picky when it comes to food..last time picky as well, then ok, but now become picky again, she hardly touch fruits, but Slurp confirm licin, and even mealies, she didn't eat that much...

last time she hate apple, but nowadays she eat apple..and pear..and plum (if it really2 sweet)...persimmons last time she love, nowadays didn't eat that much..same goes to rock melon..but she still love watermelon...nowadays i'm always out of idea wat to give them larrr..try all kind of fruits, but this little fella totally picky one, even the treats, she will select, the yellow colour one she'll eat, the orange one she'll just lick...Miya although younger than her, now bigger than her...coz if Miya, no problem one, she will wallop anything i offer...

There possibility she eat during my sleeping time, maybe I didn't see it...but most of the time, i only saw Miya hogging the fruits bowl...and seeing Pika smaller than Miya and Pika will only eat a little then left the bowl, it make me worries..

Is this abnormal? or she simply become so manja one..ohhh, she will eat more than usual if i handfeed her...so spoilt?what do you think?
*

It's very-very normal for suggies to get picky with their food.

Mine does it all the time now.

I guess they've explored and tasted everything and just decided to be choosy! Sometimes they can leave a whole bowl of fruits untouch until the next morning! Imagine, all 4 of them just suffice with eating the slurp and mealworm jer shakehead.gif

Yes, she might also be eating while you were sleeping.

Unless you notice that she is getting visibly thin, then there's nothing to be worried about.

Personally, I feel that handfeeding is good for bonding time only. If you do it often and they are spoilt with that, you are ruining them in the long run as well. They will always want you to handfeed or else they won't eat, which is really bad.

She's frighten/surprised by the fall/impact on the floor, thus why she bites... It's reflex to her nature.

Hope you hand get better soon smile.gif

One of the beauties of suggies is that once bonded, even if we rarely spend much time with them, they still remember us and love us as much.

Same here, even tho without spending much time with my suggies now, they still greet me whenever I go to their cage and wanna come out or nibble my hand/arm wub.gif

No worries. The longer you keep them, the more you'll understand and know them better.

Food picking is just one of them.

Like I said, sometimes all 4 of mine can ignore a whole bowl of fruits overnight! sweat.gif Gila one, sanggup starve if they don't like it or don't feel like eating it doh.gif

I think you need to really handle her more. I'll try and meet you and teach you a few methods. I find the best is handfeeding. The best way to make your Frey get used to movements and sounds is by bringing her to noisy and stressful areas. I know this may sound not right but it gets them used to sudden changes and new environment,

Last Sunday I went to Malaysia's Cat Show at The Mall. Keera was with me, and she behaved very well. We eductaed many and also got people really excited and happy to have Keera jump on everyone and back to me. When she was a joey, I brought her everywhere and made her get used to handling, so that is why she is a very good educational glider, just like Kiah.

Some gliders have their own habits, so since I dunno Frey, I dunno what are her usual habits and bad habits. Kapi I can know, that is why she is not such a good glider for educational purpose.

Lah, you neglect them. LOL.... but this is the trouble when we work or have full day studying. Lucky you were able to bond during their crucial growing time. This has made them recognize you and stay tame. So if you spend less time with them when they are adults, there is rarely any changes in tameness. If we neglect them totally, then of course they may turn a bit wild lah.

Gliders are picky. Sometimes I waste food coz my gliders don't finish certain fruits or are bored with the variety I give. It's ok, just feed what they like now, once they get bored, change to something new. You can always add a bit of yogurt to the fruits.

Lol, Hun, if you consider handle as in hand contact and body contact, if I'm home I handle her from when she sleep in the afternoon until she wakes up at night. But I will try to handfeed her fruits also lar (since I handfeed her mealies and slurp).

sweat.gif And yesterday she ran off in the kitchen, she herself jumped off, TWICE and ran off.

shakehead.gif In the room, when there were friends in my room, she keeps trying to jump back and when she can't jump back to me (she can't jump beyond 15cm. Not sure why she don't glide), She'll plop on the floor and climb up my leg. When there's no one else around she basically runs off. ~.~

hmm.gif Where got noisy place can trauma her ar. Have to think properly. I'll try any method lar... I'm trying really hard but it's not working too much.
