I'm going to Bandung this April and still can't decide which hotel to choose:
1) Hotel Sukajadi
2) Mutiara Hotel
3) Le Aries Garden Boutique Hotel(Couldn't get their direct contact)

And anyone have tour guide+car rental contact to share?

Try Amaris hotel? This is the one I'm staying in. Still very new and modern. RM100 with tax for queen/double bed a night. But book with the hotel instead of agoda. Staffs super friendly and helpful, speak fluent English too.

For driver, this one is recommended by many on tripadvisor. He acts as your tour guide too. I used him for two days. Great service! Highly rec!

If you can, better book online or skype them. Bcos the walk-in rate is much more expensive! starting from 450K-500K rp and up to you to negotiate.. I think online ~ 300K rp only

Just google for "Mobil sewa bandung"

Tangkuban perahu is a great volcanic scene to visit beside shopping and sipping strawberry juice. However, becareful with their tourist guide that might surcharge you with overtime and licience seller that "be nice" to you while tracking down to the volcano, they will hardsell everything on the way back.

p/s: that's the place where I purpose to my wife smile.gif

Huh? I dun even know about this place haha.. Anyway, for me, Bandung main attraction is only that Tangkuban Prahu Volcano..Else.. nothing ionteresting there inclusive of their over-rated expensive factory outlets
