Ichoose Kawah Putih. FO's normally open at 0930am and close at 10pm. Not sure about nite life coz I don't go out late at nite. I went to SEHAT Spa with my family. We had 2 hour massage for RM60. Superb!!

for q1. its all depend on your preference and condition. Tangkuban perahu is accessable by car up to the top where as kawah putih you'll have to wak ablit.. la..(execise loh..in the sulfuric stench.. hu hu..)
.. also tangkuban is nearer to bandung (just abt.1 hr north of bandung)..
... kawah putih is abt. 3 hr south of bandung..

2. FO's i would think they open at standard 9.00am-9.00pm

3. Night life.. what ever you mean... are going single or couple... just to share .. they employ ladies for golf club caddies there in bandung, and those who stay there are a lot prettier than those came looking for job in this country.

4. So many spa lah there in bandung... almost on every corner.. you can try mandara, ardjuna, karang setra..(not sure i got the spelling right..)

just go and enjoy .. and you got nothing to do at night... you can just relax infront of carefoure ... kinda like dataran where the young and restless mingle..

I think so. I can't remember but my nephew (who is a drummer for his band) told me the brand is good. Though it is 2nd hand drumstick but works well. Somewhere in Jln Martadinata. Same row with Danar Hadi Batik. Most of the factory outlet located in that area such as Heritage, Terminal Tas, Cascade. If you walk along the street to Danar Hadi Batik, the shop located opposite Danar Hadi Batik.

I use my Malaysia HP. International roaming just to receive sms but too expensive if people call me. So another option I buy Indonesia SIM card and alternately use Malaysia & Indon HP number.

COOL!! noted. i'll be gone to Bandung next month... thanks for the info smile.gif
is the indoneisa sim card cheap? i might think of not using any sim card at all there... i usually use sms online when i go to travel actually..

I prefer Kawah Putih too because if we are lucky, the weather is so nice and cold. The scenary is like you are in oversea. Misty. We sat down eating goreng pisang and drinking tea. biggrin.gif

We need to walk but I don't mind. We were on holiday anyway. Take note, they shoot Heart around Kawah Putih. Have u heard Indo movie name Heart??

Super Sehat spa located in Jln Gempol. I always very cautious when comes to spa. Since I am with family, must make sure not the hanky panky spa brows.gif

Well, if convert Rp to RM, I find it cheap though. But if you have a cheaper alternative, go ahead.

for malaysian... the rate going's used to be.. rp350k/day (w/driver-tol,fuel,parking not included) -for same province... rp 550 rp for intra-provice.. jawa barat -jawa timur etc.

-van size -suzuki erv/avanza
so -if bandung and surrounding area -rp350k/day- if you can get any lower .. should be better..

How are the planes - Air Asia Indonesia (QZ) compared to Air Asia Malaysia (AK)?

Are the planes old and not as comfortable as in AK flights?
Thanks a lot.

normally i will book hotel myself and use transportation by 'agus' because it's cheaper than package. I always use Agus whenever i went to bandung, very realiable driver. However, he also provides packages for hotel+transportation all-in including airport transfer which is also quite cheap. i just booked with him for my relatives of 6pax for 4d3n for a price of only rm300per pax for apartment hotel at braga citywalk. his price also depends on hotel range. if you want to stay at arion swissbell(4star) will be rm350 per pax for 4d3n.

if u guy wanna his contact can just pm me.

Well, I don't really like the shopping experience in Bandung. It's not cheap esp those factory outlets...price only starts from 89K for a simple design round tee..darnnn..

For me, th eonly goo dplace to shop are those stalls on top of Tangkuban prahu volcano. You can get rp20K tee-shirt there biggrin.gif

Wah..crazy kah...That's not near wor..I think better reserve for nxt Jiogja/Solo trip...Traveling ~ Java is not easy. Road after Bandung are narrow & heavy traffic. Even a mere 120km you need almost 4 hrs!! as what I experienced traveling from Jiogja to Dieng Plateau.. rclxub.gif
