well, like this there'll be endless waitin game. when am3 launched, then one will say wait for its predecessors... for sure d new product will be better, but we can't just wait again & again if we're in hurry rite?

so far i only managed to witness 1 phenom doin 300htt w/ 11*300 setup, impressive... it's a locked phenom (9750), which is d same batch as my ex phenom 9550 > 0810GPAW. too bad mine can't reach as far as that...

different mobo different perform

hello, i have a general question, before purchasing an amd processor, how do i get to know if its windsor, agena, brisbane, taliman or etc?
and whats the difference between them?

Agena (Quad) & Toliman (Tri) are referred to Phenom. (K10)
Windsor & Brisbane are referred to Athlon. (K8)

You can differentiate them by seeing the code on the box. IIANM, OPN code.

Difference between them, I would suggest you to do some google.
It is too much to explain all here.
