i'm not so comfy runnin my chip with 1.4v & above for 24/7, most of d time i'll just run my chip on default voltage on daily basis. it could be diff to others as it's all down to personal preferences, but 1.46v is a 'lil high to my liking. smile.gif

try find out wat the higher speed can run with stock vcore ??
if below +0.050v + stock vcore i think should be no problem.
my rig 4200 edy running more then 6 month with setting 250 x 11 = 2750 vcore stock (1.25V) + 0.037 without any problem

@sharkeer
try to find out wat higher speed ur proc can run with stock vcore or maybe a lil bit vcore + 0.050 below

memtest shows no error with the ram..
i use divider 667 to 1032mhz.. 533 never tried..
since this board doesnt have native support for 1066, i have to oc it..
right now stable i'm using 127.5ns@1000mhz..

hmm.. im using 9950be ..
its simply can oc to 3.2 by adjusting the multiplier to x16 with voltage of 1.47
it works for me... and give me 3mark vantage cpu score of 10k+..

ive tried to oc to 3.4 (+ a bit more of voltage) but when i run 3dmark vantage its crash..
so i stuck at 3.2

anyone have any idea?

bro, d board does come with ddr1066 divider, but x2 doesn't support ddr1066 natively. i was able to use ddr1066 when i was on x4 9600... smile.gif

heat? 9950 b.e w/ 1.47v could generate lotsa heat. load temp of all components (cpu, nb & pwm) pls... wink.gif

well, i would settle for 2.8GHz w/ stock volt. but if temp diff between 2.8GHz & 3 GHz is small, then i'm fine w/ 3.0GHz... just my humble opinion... nod.gif

try to use lower divider? eventhou phenoms support ddr1066 natively, but some boards tend to dislike it. smile.gif

Low the divider..To 667/533 at least. Also make sure ur timing is loosen for more headroom.

What some board hv da ??? for ddr2 /dd3 nowday most of the board hv it just u no see it

Example : gigabyte cut ram voltage setting (afaik many rma mobo) becoz it only use 2 fets chipset , no like biostar got 3 fets ,
so less fets make more heat ...more heat fail oc high

i have read somewhere that if the pwm ram is good, then u can set the tightest timing for stock speed at low vcore..

dont know its true or not.. but if it true, how to check the pwm ram ?

See the design like CPU PWM...most of only use 1 phase power

my bad bro, when it somes to spottin those components, i'm abit lost as i'm pro enuf to determine which is which... laugh.gif

IIRC abit ax78 got 2 phase, saw 2 squarish stuff (is it called choke??) near d memory slots... laugh.gif

d more power phase, d more efficient/cleaner voltage is supplied... correct me if i'm wrong... tongue.gif
