So i have decided to RE-OPEN back my thread of this work out journal. oh my god! it has been a year, and i look the same. + abit more fatness LOL.. Thanks to whoopsydaisy for her first step in motivating me. I have signed up for bootcamp!. Ultimate goal would be the same 65-70, it is a dream, but heck im trying to make it real!..

For the first day of bootcamp, i think that im loving it.. I paid to have people yell at my ear to get me to move. To me i think its better than fitness first, cause one thing, i have a habit of slacking off. With these military hunky guys yelling at you, and the bootcamp buddies nudging you to keep going, i think i have found my new comfort zone. These peope inspire me to move along and keep going at it. its a motivation thing i need. Maybe after i get used to it, then i can actually do it on my own.. Now, im thankful thaat i got the bootcamp people to push me along.

1st day, maybe they are like that, 2nd day i think they'll kick me if i dont move! lol

i think i did good for my first day. My face was white like a ghost, my friend said my lips was purple, i wanted to throw up a few times, i cant walk straight after that, i wanted to crawl to my car, i wanted to lie down on the grass for one or 2 hour and not move AT ALL..

yea its tough, i loved it.. i think i could have died in the field today. my heaart was actually pumping faster than usual. It has never work that hard in 4-5 years.. I actually like the fact that my lungs are actually getting fresh air, i feel like i cleansed my lungs as it is the first time that it worked that hard as well.. what more with the nicotine layer stuck to it.. I need to quit smoking..

Overall, im gonna take it nice and easy. Excercise routine, tues, thurs, and sat at padang Astaka. Id increase the excercise routines later when im more used to it. for now, these sessions at Padang Astaka is a must, i dont wanna waste my RM300 =P and also, i came to bootcamp for a reason. I need an excercise routine to be healthy. Im out! untill i got stuff to complain about the bootcamp =P

UPDATES!!

1 month has passed after joining boot camp.. SHH!!TT.. i feel the burn throughout my body.. my tshirts seemed tighter, my pants seemed tighter.. Sarge said its cause my muscle is building.. itll start to lose fats later.. OMG.. bulky... ishhhh

Dude bare in mind that fruits contrain fructose, also a type of sugar, you may wanna shift it to a meal earlier in the day depending on the quatity you're gonna consume

Gotta put in more in your breakfast, Try switching to complex carbs, wholegrain bread, oats, potatoes

hi lildaredevil, please take note that carbs is the stuff that make u fat. So u got to consume it on the right time. I would suggest that switching ur fruit to ur breakfast will be awesome. night time try to consume meat only may be wif cheese, cut down the carbs to 0 at night time if u can. AND do remember, breakfast is ur biggest meal of a day, tat wholemeal bread can goes to ur bfast as well.

P/S : fat doesnt make u fat.

no fruits in the supper please. fruits = simple carbs = excessive calories when you're sleeping = fat.

other than that, just follow what jamis said.

ah, if you can, try to switch to brown rice instead of white rice..

thanks for the input.. really appreciate it =)

Will try switching for fruits in morning.

Question, if my breakfast includes 2 eggs + wholemeal bread, would the eggs be a source of fats?.. (im not a heavy eater in the morning.. cannot consume that much)

wa i look at my food consumption for 2 days shocking wei.. I usually eat more then that..

just now dinner consume half bowl of normal hawker center lou shu fun now stomach abit hungry.. but just out of curiosity, if you guys do feel hungry at night or feel like munching something, what do you guys take? or you sleep it out?

Bootcamp is the way to go. Good job on making that decision. Now your next task is to stick to it. One month won't be enough for you to achieve your goals though, but that's for you to decide after that one month ends.

If you're hungry you can just drink some milk or eat some wholemeal bread or some chicken/tuna sandwich, or maybe some eggs, or oats. Losing weight does not equal starving yourself, that's a wrong perception that the public has unfortunately cultivated over the years.

General rule when working out, increase protein intake to enhance muscle recovery and muscle building. Applies the same even if your goal is to lose fat. Also from what I gather in LYN forums, more muscles = passively burn more fats, so that's something pleasing to hear at least. If you're worried about being muscular and all, don't, because its not easy at all to look muscular even if you try, especially for the average female.

And stop smoking if possible... Its counter-productive to life in general.

woot!! yea thanks for the heads up, i think id stick to this boot camp thing cause i feel that it would give me a better discipline in work outs and it does make me not feel like smoking. Im actually proud that i can work with 1 stick or 2 in the afternoon. normally i would run through half a pack.

for once, i feel that when i inhale the smoke, its disgusting. baby steps biggrin.gif hehe baby steps, i keep telling myself

i do feel hungry all the time.. but today i think my system had a shock.. i feel hungry but i dont feel like eating. /shrugs but of course i got take some food la.. but not my normal intake.. i find that amusing..

but anyways back to my point, if i feel hungry, eating tuna out of the can workable? lol.. of course those tuna chunks in water, not mayo.. my dad is a health freak, im trying to follow his steps but its not really working.. or you know, one cup of milo kosong. normal household foods..

im sick of fruits, thats y i think i strayed from my diet last time.. cause i keep forcing myself to have fruits.. i feel that i need to have fun inorder to achieve this goal.. its the first day, im havin fun! ^^

Excellent! That's proof that you're really developing a healthier lifestyle and your mentality is changing for the better. thumbup.gif Hopefully, soon enough you'll get totally disgusted by it and will want to avoid it at all costs... Just like what happened to me and junk food. biggrin.gif

Hmm tuna can guaaa... A lot of members in LYN eat tuna in between meals. As for Milo, personally I avoid drinking Milo because it doesn't feel like I'm consuming 'real' nutrition. It feels empty but I can't explain why... Hopefully another member can help here. I only drink it as a last resort when I run out of milk. Btw avoid adding condensed milk into your Milo, or any of your drinks for that matter.

lol milo kosong all the time.. i learnt that from a friend of mine who doesnt like the condensed milk feeling.. kinda blend into the feeling... milo advertise onlyy.. i also dont think it has nutrition in it.. but, normally i take it when i dont want to consume food.. but i think now tuna is a better alternative.. house always got tuna.

Today i am proud of myself! complaints on how hard they push you.. memang got one... but i loved it.. loved every bit of it...
