if its just dull, its still ok for me... like TRUE, there are lots of oxide on the fins, just like batu karang blush.gif

Added on May 26, 2010, 1:45 am
anyway, how about megahalems? hmm.gif the newer revision has a stainless steel top fin, so will always shine. what about its other fins? are they just like true's fin or better? and if given a choice of true black and megahalems, which wud be a better one? blush.gif really hard to make up my mind...

nope, even the surface of the stainless steel will be oxidized over time. Didn't u notice those stainless steel gate around your neighborhood tends to be slightly dull after some time?
True Black is nice, but when dust builds up, u need to clean it lo tongue.gif Nothing is perfect.
U want looks or u want performance?

i need some advice here.
can i run the cooler master v10 without the fan shroud ala passive cooling?

i ran into some problem of space due to a miscalculation on my side. the second set of heatsinks and fan with the shroud on didnt clear the 5.25" drive cage.

i'm hoping to mod the 5.25" drive cage in a while but i need to use the pc also. i'm using only the TEC fan at the moment and have another 80mm fan which is i mounted above the second heatsink using cable ties.

its messy but the tempreature i'm getting is lower then the standard heatsink which died a few days ago.

I asked a friend of mine to change the orientation of my cpu cooler from horizontal to vertical. Currently I'm using deepcool ice blade pro and my casing is CM690II plus. Unfortunately he said it can't be done (he said something about the cooler's mounting).

the reason I want to change the orientation to vertical is because I want to make use of the 5.25 inch bay and put a fan there thus it will aligned with the cpu cooler's fan.

my question is if I stick with the current horizontal set up and add a fan inside the 5.25 inch bay, does it interrupt the air flow? icon_question.gif

Cooler Master Hyper 212+. thumbup.gif Best bang for bucks I can say. Compared to Xigmatek's, Hyper 212+ has a better mounting. smile.gif

Your budget bro? If around RM100, I'm pretty sure Cooler Master Hyper 212+ will be your best bet. nod.gif

I've unlocked my AMD 720 Be to quad core X20. Now the temp shows -265C. The highest i recorded was 2C.

Now i'm reverting back to tricore worrying my CPU will burn without my knowing while playing some games

is there any software that accurately tell u the temp for unlocked core?

thanks

Well it is normal for the temperature reading to go haywire with unlocked core laugh.gif
That is sort of a side effect but don't worry, unlikely your processor will burn sweat.gif
