Wow, the themes in here are really sweet looking. I sure will look into these once i JailBreak my iPod Touch.

I know how to enable and use sliders. I've downloaded through cydia, and now i just would like to extract it through winscp, where can i locate the folder for downloaded sliders?

As written on first post:

*All Themes location at /Library/Themes.

6. Change Slider
(Your Theme)/Folders/TelephonyUI.framework/
- bottombarknobgray.png for your main slider icon.
- bottombarknobgreen.png for your call answer icon.
- bottombarknobred.png for shutdown icon.

Do take sometime to read the first post to do more customization on your iPhone.

Hi David, I've browsed through /Library/Themes

But when I do that I get an error

"Error listing directory /private/var/stash/Themes.kizmQc"


I didn't even navigate to private/var/.... where did it go wrong there?

I have no idea mate. I've never encounter errors when i browse the Library/Themes folders.

You may wanna try browsing private/var/stash/Themes.kizmQc and see what happens.

Okay David, now my sliders are there. But it wasn't there yesterday when I posted this question, weird...

And I have to browse /private/var/stash/Themes.kizmQc to retrive my slider.

LET ME EXPLAIN AGAIN........

I'm attempting to put on a Tap To Unlock on my iPhone with firmware 2.2, but I've run into an issue. When I put it on (using Winterboard), the slide to unlock text gets pushed over to the side, and I can't find a way to remove it.

I Tried un-unlockable n transparent slider but the result are same.
anyone can help me on this??
i am not gud in open SHH or WINSCP. any other manual way - something like use the File finder for remove it?
i tryied to instal customize also not wrk coz its buggy and cannot launch at all.

any expert? hans or lyn - help me!!!!!
pls refer to pictures below n u can see the slide to unlocked pushed a side when i instal tap to unlock theme.

Please be polite and not use CAPS if you can. I have encountered this issue and is not an issue that it can't be solve.

1) Change Slide To Unlock to no text (follow the guide on first post)

2) Place the Tap to Unlock as first priority above all your themes in Winterboard by moving it with the 3 lines on the right side. If you're not sure what i'm sayin, read the first thread on Common Ask Questions.

3) Unselect all your themes and select only Tap to Unlock. Check if the tap to unlock is working without the slide to unlock. If everything goes well, select the rest of your themes and you should be fine.

i still confused on how to do the item number 1. i donnow where to start. anyway i already explore thru file finder n cannot reach there.

It's really easy mate.

Go to Sauriks theme. Look at Bundles/com.apple.springBoard/en.Iproj

Find SpringBoard.strings file and copy it to your desktop.

Then use a texteditor and change the AWAY_LOCK_LABEL= "slide to unlock" to AWAY_LOCK_LABEL= ""

In your custom themes, place the SpringBoard.strings in Bundles/com.apple.springBoard/en.Iproj

Select your theme via winterboard again. Done.

when i copy the SpringBoard.strings, it was NOT AWAY_LOCK_LABEL= "slide to unlock" but mine was AWAY_LOCK_LABEL= "slide to saurik" - is that normal?

2nd,
i used notepad to edit the string - is it ok or had to use any special text editor?
if need to use special text editor - can u name the text editor so i can d/load it.

then i copy back - and launch the themw as per yr advise - nothing happen stll d same.
i use ifun-box to do this stuff.
can u figure out where is my mistake?

1. That's suarik's theme and that's what he did as an example mate. So change AWAY_LOCK_LABEL= "slide to saurik" to AWAY_LOCK_LABEL= ""
The slide to unlock will not appear on your lock screen.

2. You can edit with notepad as you can read the file rite? That's all. very simple.


There's not updates on FCSB for sometime. Not sure if he's still developing it or not.

As for the other repo, i prefer not to use it and i have heard some had to restore thier phone after using it. So, it's up to you mate. 50 - 50 chances you can get it to work well.

i'm currently using your weather widget. however, when i reboot my iphone and dont have wifi connection, there will be a question mark on the weather.


suppose now i activate my wifi, how do i make it automatically update the weather without rebooting the device?

The widget needs Wifi or 3G connection for it to work and you can set it lower to a 35 minutes update cycles by editing the configureMe.js file.

Change the minutes below:

var updateInterval = 35 //Minutes
