Tried panda, like the panda logo, but alas only found a demo version only....

Now using F-Prot, seems efficient and fast.

here's my research about antivirus.
norton? forget about it coz eating alot of resourse. p4 no problem but how bout p3? power of scanning virus is medium only~
panda? it's a good antivirus especially built it feature "smart clean". It help clean virus and roll back what virus hava did. but still insufficien in scanning virus. (my pc is infected with virus even i have panda, same as norton. Of course i did all the update). and if you want to install it on winme and win98, u need to update dx9 and ie6.If not u will having problem to run the program. kaspersky properbly is the best av now. it don't have feature like panda, but it have powerful virus scanner that detect almost all the latest virus. But because of that, the virus scanning is slow coz scanning is too detail (that why it's powerful in scanning). update daily, update more faster than panda, norton etc. Use low resourse (even p1 no lagging at all!) recommend!!
nod32 is about same as norton. other av is useless.

my votes go for kasperksy ... uses less resources unlike norton Av which borgs down my computer ... other notables av sw are : panda & avg. however my favourite is still kasperksy. only rm35 smile.gif

I also thought what SOAPBOX blink.gif
Many firewalls also use this technology. ZoneLab Integrity (for Corporate used. Central Managed).
Think it's something like Quarantine but in a SMARTER manner.

again, i can't agree with it...
bare in mind that not everyone is money minded...

maybe there is no better free windows antivirus around yet... but firefox, nettransport, thunderbird, php, mysql, apache, foobar2000, filezilla etc are free and working decently in my pc...
