planning to get 1 soon.. hows the overall build quality of this phone ? does it feel solid/plasticky/etc ?

i usually keep my phones for a long time (years) before getting something new =S which also makes me a little worried about the white colored keypad getting worn out after a while..

coz it works with the normal free maps.. just that when i change map... it doesn't work anymore

what reason this phone price jack up by rm100 de ? high in demand or low in supply, rm1350 for this one is too pricey, top up rm100+ can get N95 8GB version alrdy

Choosing between N79 and N82.

Opinions?

Prices for both of these phones?

my personal choice would be N79, due to its FM transmitter;
if you are interested to play the entire library of mp3s in ur car, then consider N79.

vga instead of cif video camera 4 video calling
newer OS
4GB instead of 2GB retail card in n82(mind u, it microSD HC, not the normal version)
Video light in recording mode

while on the other hand, n79 cons
no xenon
n82 leads in camera wise although same module used
slightly cheaper
GPS chipset is more sensitive.... (not a big deal, it just a few seconds difference)
other than that, both fones r similarly the same

so, u make ur choice
though i would say n79 would be better choice since it is a new fone and also for what it offers
for the price u pay

actually N82 is oriented towards higher end market, see its launch price was close to RM2k. N79 launch price not more than RM1.3k, taking AP price into comparison

yeap, u re correct bro. But i still prefer N82 that equipped with xenon flash.

but with led u still able to take photo even in
a dark room.its not very bad at all.

y does ppl always comparing the flash?? in my opinion, tat flash thingy not really important.. we dun always use it right. unless in dark condition. for me i prefer not to use flash while taking photos. i rather pickup the light from the surrounding or juz switch it to night mode. if really wanna take some good photos, my advice is carry ur DC with u whenever u go out..

but did u guys notice
if take photo without light,especially shot ppl in close distance
the photo looks more nice

ya.. neo.. i agree with u.. tat's y i prefer not to use flash..looks more natural.. and can see the background nicely

yup but its depend on where to take the photo
u play camera too?

i didnt play camera la.. not tat rich la. haha.. but try to learn some photo taking technique..usually play with DC only..

i still noob in this area
hope i can hv more time to learn it
