Hinika... me also... got the phone back is the same version 10.046 but the fonts is different lioa. Now at office doing nothing... restoring my contact and calendar... now installing apps.. I notice got a dictionary app lioa

so means that contact and note at calendar might be rested after upgrade the firmware ?
font changed ? means different from default English font type ?

Is a different font type i got after the firmware upgrade. U must backup your phone memory before u send it for upgrade. Anyone know how to make the dictionary to work??

I think to let the dictionary works u gotta copy some file into the private folder in the memory card. however, i do not sure which folder to copy. since my set is ori set my dictionary can use straight away without any problem

After some reading it might be at the private folder in the memory card. If you don't mind..can copy the folder for me?

if u can specify the folder name then i not mind to copy to u.. haha..

Is neaby the CSL shop walk straight in... at 1st floor. Weekends i'm not sure got open or not. Anyway anyone wanted to send for service just remember to scan their memory card coz mine got virus lioa...

n after upgrade ur self-installed software stil there ?
scare my garmin gone after upgrade lah..

I got mine done lioa... just download the databese file and extract it to provate folder... now can use it already

Added on December 5, 2008, 9:02 pmApps you install on the phone will be gone coz they like formatting the phone memory. All the apps you have to install it back. Plug your phone to ur pc and run as mass storage then scan it loh b4 use.... found 3 virus on my memory card

Use your PC suite to backup ur contact other appss... i think u have to install back... stuff in the memory card they won't touch

All the games. software and themes will be remove once the phone is patch with the new firmware. Fonts look bigger... for me i still can live with it but still prefer the old one...
