I also don't have enough time to review and listen to the band that i've had on the friendlist.. arghhhhhh... but don't worry i will go find and approve if i find a normal guy/girl in there

I can see some old band like Nebiras (Farid still active yea?.. wow), Jaie band (you know whom ), Atannaz (Kitanaichi, long time no see this guy! heh..), Def Gab C drummer, Mr Lee Space (Rator), Ayong (Stompin' Ground, Mr King (Metalasia), Mr Ibrisam Akhbar @ Sam (Langsuyr) etc.. etc... huhuhuhuuhuh

actually maybe because the organizer didn't get a police permit, that's why LOG didn't come to malaysia. Most of the time, we are missed the godly band perform here because of government's policy... arghhh again...

Impiety, a singaporean black metal band nowadays has become a big band... i remembered when the last time armageddon album was hitted the world metal music back in 1999 and they did a lot of tour worldwide after that.. They're now influencing a lot of norwegian, finnish and swedish band too

lol.. i'm quite tired to explain about the metal genres.. it's my old food to differentiate between music to music and eventhough the band claimed themselves as death metal, brutal death, black death, dark metal, black metal, viking metal, folkloric doom death or dark doom death metal, i can still be able to separate well their origin genres by hearing to their sound. Some may claim they're black metal but the sound and lyrically wise sound like doom metal meets old school thrash, so it's not a black metal band... maybe their gimmicky corpsepaint will make them look like a black metal band .. so it's up to listeners and reviewers actually. If you're listening to a lot of band before, you can differentiate well between each other. Sound of vocals also can be differentiate which sound like black metal, gothenburg style of death metal, florida brutal death metal, gore grind, brutal gore grind death, scandinavian black metal or british black metal.

there's a lot of definition available in the internet, some may look crap and its presumption just a fake, and a lot of old school style of html page may define a good elaboration of the genres as well.... most of these extreme metal stand more like a misanthropic over the technology-wise.. hahahhaha..

i love to see the old xerox printed everywhere in metal scene again.. hahaha this is meant to be underground instead of pro printed.... I love the past things in my life... METAL KICKS YOUR ASS!!!

in malaysia perhaps it's just a hobby but not in european. They live with these kind of way. In scandinavian, it's more worse since they're not going to work... they spend their life to music, just like their way of life. Anyway, even they're jobless still their government will pay them. actually #kafan is not a place to download mp3 around the mIRC... hahahaha.. it's the place to chat and to spread the upcoming news on what happen to the scene of metal locally or worldwide.
most of the download channel is not based on the webnet.

Previously, i prefer to buy stuff which is ordered directly from overseas before 1997 (around RM2.50 per USD1), but until then the rate exchange of american dollar raise up... and i only depends on promo stuff from the record label which is given free for me because i'm doing a review on metal stuff or i just heading to kedai auntie after that. After Nebiula Metal Shop was open by jaie, we got lot of options to buy too instead of ordering to overseas unless if i wanna grab a limited edition digipak CD's of my favourite band...

I missed a lot of the lost stuff at my old rent house in setapak.. too many of good old original demo cassette including from 'old' repulsion, 'old' dismember stuff, some good reference band like discharge (it's punk band but it was a reference to many extreme metal band including Sarcofago (r.i.p) from brazil and bathory), 'old' celtic frost (rip), mercyful fate, and many limited edition digipak cd's too like Children Of Bodom 'live in Japan' digipak limited edition.. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... , darkthrone demo, morbid angel demo, beherit demo, kreator demo, absu demo, absu v.i.t.r.i.o.l, terrorrizer split stuff with other band... this is rare indeed... damn.... too many of band that i forgot already.. but i'm gonna remember back soon... a lot of stuff that cannot be recovered back...

i know about them, but the band not supposed to be here... Either they're good or not.. it's not a metal band. This is a metal topic. Anyone can start nu-metal/nu-age or whatever you call them in another thread if you think that band is good.. No offense for that. hahaha.. i noticed about that in the movie on how serious the face mimic he got. it was how those True norwegian black metal should look. I got a friend who already deceased back in 2004-05 with the same face mimic all the time, the old timer in black metal scene in KL,the late Xul of War666. He was died in horrible.

We altogether hang out at Ramzan Restaurant nearby CM back in late of 90's in the glory days, it was before the fake story created by the harian metro newspaper based on poser's statement that were done such ignorance and retarded stuff and destroy a black metal scene in Malaysia. Thanks to those stupid and ignorance childish moron culprits.

Holocausto brazil? a black thrash horde that was consisted by the sarcofago's member? it was a rare tape man... never got the chance to have an original stuff of them. But in the old days, i got only their dubbing tape that was lost like the story i mentioned before.

I call them a new wave of death metal music rather than metalcore. Pure Metalcore remind me of Biohazard, the old band.

But most metaller didn't see any trouble with the new wave of death metal.. the band like The Black Dahlia Murder, Neaera, As I Lay Dying, Unearth, Bleeding Through, I Killed The Prom Queen, As Blood Runs Black, As Cities Burn, Between the buried and me, Bury Your Dead, Killswitch Engage, Parkway Drive, Through the eyes of the dead and tons others...

Metal has no boundaries, indeed but some genres create a law (esp. black metal) to differentiate between other genres. I care about genres.. It's really shows that you're know what are you listening to or not and is it you're a real metaller or just being a trendy on the music scene. This determine your knowledge about the music too.. Yes, it looks like a short minded, but you might saw a lot of old timer of metal might say the same think like this too unless if you're not been in underground scene where at that time we're making trading without profit for the love of the metal music, we share the flyers amongst us by traditional way (mail) and trade in some good stuff, and contact the band by ourselves. We're not depends on the shop to get the stuff, so we will get news faster than others too.

Nowadays it's differs, more ppl like of being glamor and didn't pay much attention on the metal ethics. So many posers out there claimed they're listen to this band and that band but not knowing whose the real root, the origin, some ppl also claimed they're pioneer band but in reality they're such a copycat of others band. This will differentiate between the new comer and the old timer of metal of course!

Anyway i'm not listening to metal music only, i also listen to the old school hardcore band like D.R.I, Embrace, Fugazi, Casey Jones, Dag Nasty, Absurd, Agnostic Front, Bad Brains, Buzzcocks, Embrace Today, 25 Ta Life, Backbone, Mineral, Refused, Strife, Earth Crisis, Propaghandi, Sunny Day Real Estate, Ignite, Youth of today, Texas is the reason etc..

Also the new wave of deathmetal, like the band i mentioned earlier and the old metalcore band like hatebreed, biohazard, Undying, Shadows Fall, Shai Hulud, Walls of Jericho etc..

Math core (instead of calling them math metal) / chaotic / fast core / screamo (real screamo is differ than trendy and commercial mtv emo crap) like this band Acheemelie, Ampere, Black Cross, Black Line Fever, Cassandra Complex, Coalesce, Cougar Den, Daitro, Dear Daiary I Seem to be dead, Denali, Envy (japan master screamo), Fear before the march of flames, Forensics, Framtid, Funeral Diner, Gauge Means Nothing, Hassan I sabbah, Hot Cross, Idiot Pilot, Jenny Piccolo, Kaaos, Kaospilot, La Quiete, Mihai Edrisch, Nervewreck, Norma Jean, Orchid, Neil Perry, Page 99, Shikari, The Jhai Alai, The Locust, Utarid (malaysian screamo.. not commercial type of band!).... ahhh so many of them if i mentioned all you'll be shocked by then.. hahahahahahhahahahahah


I also listening to grindcore, crust grind, D-beat, noise core, noise grind, crossover stuff, mince core... you can always ask me if you wanna know about them... I can differentiate either they're on metalside or otherwise..

that's cool that you're in the scene at that time. According to an old friend that i still hang out with till nowadays , Mr Marzuk of Zulmat Zine from Terengganu (one of the earliest fanzine in metal scene back in 1987. All were hand written ), the scene of thrash metal start earliest than that... most probably in circa '83 - '85, brought back by a student who's studying at overseas. While Vulgar, the first black metal band hailed from Ipoh was started in 1984..

So, that's mean the start of an era to every states in malaysia was differs between each other. But, anyway hail to you

that's good, i think the 'caring' meaning for genre i stated here that at least we know what it is except if you listening to those mainstream... i also listening to 'em too like a dead popstar michael jackson... hahahhahahaha... i never care about that genre.. hahahahahhaha...

Quorthon from bathory also from u/g punk music scene... but bathory was one of the legend in metal scene. Most of the old metaller appreciate the old hardcore punk band like Discharge too. Do you know about that? The sound of grindcore is a well mix between death metal meet thrash and punk music, do u think this is a crazy funny genre? Don't read and depends to wikipedia... sometimes the data is not accurated and contains the word from poser, someone who didn't know to differentiate the music as well. it's a freedom dictionary that was written by unknown people.. everyone can edit the wikipedia as well.
