Anybody know this band? Experimental metal band from France. I like the music, groovy and weird, but i don't like metalcore style vocal.

Judas Priest is one metal band that constantly changes their style over the decades. Painkiller is their only true foray into thrash metal. Gotta respect how they redefined metal with their twin lead guitar attacks and headbang-inducing riffs back in the 70s

wasn't it Judas Priest that had that infamous court case long time ago, where allegedly someone committed suicide after listening to their songs?

I don't know how to write long review but what can i tell is the album is solid overall, 7/10 from me. But don't except too much mind blowing guitar-solo, fast thrashy song. Because 13 is much more similar to Countdown to Extinction. For me, Dave Mustaine finally can write catchy song, and have sing-along chorus. For the past 3 albums, none were catchy because Mustaine tend to write long verse and chorus. I consider those re-worked songs as filler; Black Swan, Millennium of the Blind and New World Order. The reason are, the arrangement and solos not much different than the original version. I'm sure it's cakewalk for them to record these 3 songs. Black Swan and New World Order, the original version sound much better to me.

Yeah, but the suit was quickly dismissed for obvious reasons.

Some of my favourites are Rock Hard Ride Free, The Green Manalishi (With The Two-Pronged Crown), Beyond The Realms Of Death and Riding On The Wind. Awesome stuff
