Performing, yeah. The ruling is still in effect sadly. But I don't know about recording since they would need to be in the underground scene to do so. No publicly released albums that's for sure.

Actly, if the kids here understood what really was going in Black Metal, maybe they won't burn the Qurans. heck i actually would believe that they hold really close to it.

But yeah, the stupid thing with the metallica issue, Black METAL. METALlica. Sad ain't it?

For me, if you really understand something, you won't blindly something that's against it. For example, could be a biased one, i am quite religious in my own way (muslim), but I enjoy metal songs. Regardless of its genre in Metal.

its more of a problem of blindly doing things.

Exactly. I still remember how people (who i know) looked down on Metallica's Master of Puppets when the song is actually about a drug user and how we should break free.

so yeah, funneh.

I'm lamenting on the fact that I don't have enough money to complete Metallica's CD collection. dammit. Only then I can move to Judas Priest. Kinda loved them after sampling The Hellion/ Electric Eye.

Btw, do any of you guys know where I can legitly sample Metal band music? I don't really wanna download, I just wanna try a few songs and decide if the album is worthy of picking up. If all else fails, Itunes. haha.

The only 2 songs I can take from Nightmare was really Nightmare and Buried Alive. That's it. Now I'm just seriously contemplating if I want to get that album or just the 2 songs instead.

No no. As in, I was trying to sample them, and the only 2 songs in the album that clicked with me were, as I stated.

I can't say for Mike's decision. But I guess I need to keep listening to their youtube subscribtion to make sure I could get to them maybe. It took a while for me to really like MIA and Sidewinder, so maybe it just takes some time.

Ah crap. Racer X doesn't have Technical Difficulties as a Single. Darn. Guess I'll have to order that and Warmness of the Soul then.

I have to admit, i would laugh at first. but when i just closed my eyes, it just sank down.

Feels like I could just open a book and enjoy it or forgetting about the jams in KL while I listen to that. Seriously feels smooth. haha.

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Dec 22 2010, 09:53 PM)
You mean Iron Maiden not heavy enough? Maybe some of their new stuff aren't heavy, even their producer also has stated that Iron Maiden now are more toward progressive rock than heavy metal. But listen to The Greater Good of God, Powerslave, When the Wild Wind Blows, Wasted Years and The Trooper. Their creativity second to none.

I kind of favor Phantom of the Opera over The Trooper though. But the rest are spot on.
