New Trivium = Hate the vocals, music's pretty okay.
*
I agree the vocals does get irritating at times but musically they are good.

Yeah, saw this, too and this time it's not so cringe-worthy. Metallica would prolly win it since it's Metallica. Overall, a not too bad list.
*

Slipknot have been nominated a number of times. They seem to be quite popular with the grammys. I bet they'll end up winning even though the song sucks.

Since many of you have been mentioning Lamb Of God lately, I saw their music video "Set To Fail" on Channel [V]. I think it's from their new album. It was quite a good track I must say.

Pfft. Mustaine and his whiny voice can take a hike. If it weren't for the fantastic Marty Friedman and his exquisite solos in Rust in Peace, I would pen Megadeth as the shittiest of the Big 4, behind even Anthrax.
*
Mustaine has one of the worst vocals in metal. He sounds like a wuss. For me, Metallica beats the crap out of Megadeth anytime. So therefore Metallica owns Megadeth.

I love industrial. Not NIN or MM type of industrial.
*
I love NIN, one of my fav bands. But the album The Slip was a major disappointment. Trent Reznor seems to be taking a different direction. I've basically given up on Manson after Mechanical Animals. Other so called industrial bands that I listen to are Rammstein, Celldweller, Stabbing Westward, Two, Gravity Kills, Circle Of Dust, Zeromancer.

I like Steve Vai & Joe Satriani. Sometimes I take time out from metal stuff & just relax and listen to instrumental rock music from these guys.

That shop? That is my last resort. The price offered there are ridiculous high than normal retail CD at other shop (RM77 - RM88 instead of normal price, RM49.90). Not to mention the seller there are not totally honest. Maybe i will search at Campbell Complex instead.
*
I remember many many years ago Tower Records used to sell some cd's at crazy prices. One cd I remember very well was a Korn album. Other shops sell at RM40 something but Tower Records close to RM70. Some of the "singles" cd are almost the same price of a full album cd. Victoria Station is still one of my fav. places. Of course I hardly go to music shops nowdays coz' busy downloading which I'm not really proud of. doh.gif
