December 11, 2011 - DAVE MUSTAINE PERFORMS WITH METALLICA AT FINAL ANNIVERSARY SHOW

History was made last night (Saturday, December 10) when Dave Mustaine rejoined Metallica on stage for the first time in almost three decades to perform with the band. Dave played five songs with Metallica; "Hit The Lights", "Metal Militia", "Phantom Lord", "Jump In the Fire", and "Seek And Destroy". Former Metallica members Jason Newsted, Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney, Hugh Tanner, along with the band's longtime producer Bob Rock, as well as Black Sabbath legends Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler also joined Metallica on stage last night for the fourth and final intimate show at the Fillmore in San Francisco as part of the week-long celebration of its 30th anniversary as a band for fan club members only.
Metallica's first full lineup — featuring James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Dave Mustaine and Ron McGovney — played its first gig on March 14, 1982 at Radio City in Anaheim, California.

Judas priest is among the best showmanship in Wacken 2011. the only band got to play 2 hours! Only watch them 2nd half of the show.
This year wacken sold out earlier than last year, probably due to Scorpion last outdoor show at Germany. No going either since majority of the band listed is kinda off for me.

with Black Sabbath headlining some of the fest (but not wacken, right), i think money should b well spent. well, same things held me back from buying the tix.. no kaki and might need to spend alot for purpose like this.

lets just hope for black sabbath and more bands to tour this region!

Yea my friend bought 5 tix the 1st day itself too but collecting em at the collecting booth on the day itself. Lucky they coming Singapore, if not already planning to fly to Japan.

Do u have darkthrone? Transylvanian hunger is great..its bloody raw..and burzum too...a true norwegian black metal! Becareful when u buy cd online...avoid russian print cd..its original but the value is not there..

Plenty of them on Youtube. Even with full concert.
