QUOTE(glock88 @ Sep 20 2008, 12:53 PM) when using 1.4 Vcore ah bro... what is the idle and load temp???interested to know... before i also increase it to that kinda vcore... hahaha 1.4v but during IBT , the voltage drop till 1.35v+. By using RealTemp, the max reading temp is 87C.

lol.... well notebooks normally run at this sort of temp.... like my old lappie T2300E also idles at 60 plus and if loaded with occt will go up to 90... lol... well my quaddie runs at 63 when on load... so i would use urs to be kinda high... haha maybe when i get my WC kit only then i will try.....

Haha u can fry an egg on your lappy mmm... fried eggs. but bro, i dun think u should let ur quadies run at that kind of load temp. really will shorten the life span

QUOTE(metsatsu @ Sep 21 2008, 10:49 AM) 87C is the peak temperature. Most of the time idling at 60C and load at 70C. I believe the sensor problem because my heatsink dont even feel warm. Now i still figuring out how the GTL work. Is it good to run GTL at *0.69 all the time? This post has been edited by Cyclone87: Sep 21 2008, 11:10 AM

I will wait for your conclusive finding

All the 45nm conroe have temperature sensor problem. Some can even break 100C+. Err probably don't need 0.69 to hit 500FSB la. I can get 500FSB at 0.67.

hmmm gtl reference stuff... i still dont understand what's its for... lol.... maybe will try more when i go back next month... hahaha anyways... do u have to pump the nb and fsb vtt to achieve higher clock?? it seems to me i have to pump my nb and vtt to around 1.33 and 1.30 for my maximus for stability.... hmmm that also only 3.0 Ghz for my x3320
