Hi everyone, I'm still new in this hamster thread as well as keeping hamsters. I got something here to suggest, but first of all I need to beg for you all not flame me or whatever...
I read lotz of your argument between "say yes to smoothies" and "say no to smoothies" camps, and I tried google a some sites and found out really a lot of sites mentioned do not feed fruits to certain breed of hamsters. So, the fact of feeding fruits or not, is quite obvious in this case.
Same thing goes to nezu's smoothie. Why is every one say it's good and excellent? Becoz lotz of ppl bought and saw their hamster grow up pretty fast. That's why it's good.
While we don't really know 100% of the whole recipe of the smoothie, I think nezu is the one and only person that can complete this task: Why don't come out another flavor of smoothie, which contain not so many fruits and sugary content that can make everyone happy? For instance, if you go to buy some fruit jam in the supermarket, you can see some of those labeled as "Consumable by Diabetes Patient" or so, why don't you do the same thing as well. As most of us treat our hamster as human. (I did talk to them and lecture them sometimes...

). And the most important thing, I think most of us believe in one thing -> "Better be safe than sorry"
For those who almost want to start a flame on me now:
Why is nezu come out with this smoothie at the first place? Becoz she took many ppl advice and start distribute it instead of using it alone. And now I hope nezu can consider my suggestion as well at this moment.
Thank you for not flaming...
