QUOTE(Sophiera @ Sep 11 2008, 01:36 PM) Um...yeah I very the silly XD A bit concerned about bean because she will lick from the bottle for a long, long time..and we don't really see the water going down. But when we push, got droplet so should be fine. Lama wor, 10 minutes...20 minutes... Is your bottle working? You try and see, when Bean drinks, you look at the bottle. After licking a while you should see a bubble go up. If as long as she's drinking, no bubble went up, means she didn't get water (or not much). Should replace the bottle o. |

lol, mine hasn't tried yet. I'm thinking that Roche will love it since she likes the vegetarian supplement but Ferro will probably hate it since he hates the vege supplement.

^ I agree. It might be an infection and it can pass on to your other hamster.
Is the tail wet? Does the eye look like sticky sticky, sometimes can't open? |

lol all the videos so cute!!! i laughed my head off!!!
@yfchin: If the tail is wet, it could be wet tail. Evacuate any hamster living with that hamster immediately!! Wet tail is very deadly. And sticky eyes could be eye infection. This post has been edited by Jamien: Sep 12 2008, 01:30 AM |

QUOTE(ifeel100 @ Sep 15 2008, 12:37 AM) i got 1 robo (female) myself, bt later i saw my bro brought another pair of robos too. Well, for starters. it is not safe to place a pregnant robo with another male or female. You shouldn't place it with a male cuz he might impregnate her after she gives birth. You shouldn't place with another female because the female might go over and steal the pups. There will be a tug of war like thingy with the pups as the rope. Ends up all the pups will get eaten because the mama feels threatened and the pups don't smell like her anymore. It's important for the pups to smell like her so she can recognize her own pups. So no touchy touchy of the pups with anything when they're born. How shld i grouping them? Each robo 1 cage or ?? N i realised 1 robo got pregnant already (can see fr it size). 1. Robo (F - 1y) - living alone in a cage 2. His (M - 6mths) - Stay w/ Her. 3. Her (F - 6mths) - Pregnant now When "Her" almost delivery, I need 2 separate out fr "His". "His" seem to go well w/ Robo, bt I dun wish 2 get anymore baby robo again. "Her" & Robo wil get fight when 2gether in a cage *sweating Izzit my only choice = each robo 1 cage? It seem quite pity like tt way... Sigh~ bcoz of my stupid bro Any gd advice?? For now you must put each robo on their own. When the pups are born, you can slowly introduce and group them in 1 "boys only" tank and another "girls only" tank. Kelantan style I guess. |

QUOTE(edwinlcw @ Sep 15 2008, 02:50 PM) Mental deformity? i think that hamster is fine. She will standing up with her two legs and fall down on the back... that's the only that attracted my gf... And post some pictures yah? BTW, when you bought the hamster, didn't the store label the hamster tank from where you choose your hammie? What does the label say? And if one male 1 female you better separate... If they're about the same age and living in the same tank, there is a very high possibility that they are brother and sister. Inbreeding produces bad quality pups... |

QUOTE(edwinlcw @ Sep 15 2008, 03:14 PM) 1. Brown color with a strpe from head to the tail. with dorsal stripes, could be winter white lor. 2. Black color, also got a stripe from head to tail Looks like the Campbells Hamster but i'm not sure. Brought at 14 bucks each Added on September 15, 2008, 3:20 pm I didn't notice if there is any lable on the tank or not. About the age, no idea also.. but both of them sometime did fighting for the wheel. Flipping.. don't since after brought it, it only did it once... maybe because of this my gf lost interest on it... Luckily it's not flipping... Flipping is a condition where a hamster can't balance and will flip continuouslyfor its whole life... Very poor thing wan... and lol, chinchilla is a chinchilla la. bunny is a bunny. |

kcng you're gonna be so greatly disappointed... All robos love to pee in the wheel... There are only very small minorities who doesn't do it. The wheel is their ultimate treasure. So you can say they are marking the wheel as theirs i guess?

^ Lol, I never thought about it that way! But my robos always mogok when I take out their wheel. They will all jump into the wheel when I'm lifting it out. I can imagine them saying "If you're going to take it, you'll have to take me too!!" or something like that.
Robos are really such darlings to have once they're tame. I miss my robos a lot... |
