i still prefer to go for long service branded name like pana and KDK...
and i still will choose those without remote... as the remote and spoilt and need to change battery if use for too long and never use the remote for too long. battery leak.. hahaaha...

those aplha one sure looks nice.. but not sure how long they can last.. as they are more towards on outlook then the durability...

nowadays even KDK also can last long, my old house already kong 2 pieces barely 2 years usage vmad.gif

I guess its more depend on the quality of the part of the fan rather than brand. If they are branded but use low quality part due to cost cutting, I think no good brand will last long as the manufacturer ultimate objective is to take money from your pocket.

Most of the ceiling fan's motor is China made.

And alot companies like Alpha also local companies. Unlike last time, i think local brand becoming better now.

Actually 4 of my fans are Alpha Wings which are their low cost product. Only RM155-170 for 5 ABS blades with remote control

Using panasonic 4-blade type, with remote. Very happy with it. Strong wind and silent.

Those are nice, I like a 5 blade Ceiling Fans myself. I like to turn them on when I'm gone, you know...for the cat. They will get very dusty if you don't stay on top of it though...

i think you can cut the rod.. or maybe push the rod all the way into your plaster ceiling...

how tall is the blade of the fan from ground after installing?
if more than 8feet should be ok...

I have 2 questions:

1. Which shop in KLang Valley that gives the best price for Alpha fans?
2. Which shop around Seri Kembangan / Mines that sells ceiling fans, and gives attractive price?

Your input will be much appreciate. Thank you.
