My unit got 3 similar ceiling fan. Deka Kronos brand. I switch all at #3 full speed. However I can see and feel that the speed is not the same. The bedroom one is the fastest compare to the 2 other fan at living room.

Erm, time to service the fan so that will be back to full speed again?

I wouldn't recommend actually. Just go for KDK for better quality and performance I guess.

Why not? What happened to your Deka? I just bought 4 units of the Deka F5-4p, a simple basic 3 speed, 4 blade, remote control fan. Cost me about ~RM150 each

You can go for Rubine 3 blade fan.. We just bought 3 Rubine fans during exhibition about a month back... The wind speed is quite good and the wind are like waves (not sure how to explain laugh.gif ) If not mistaken, we paid around RM600+ for 3 fans which is like RM200+ per fan... Model is Ondular... http://www.rubine.com.my/product-detail.ph...F-ONDULAR-3B-WH Suitable for bedrooms, TV room, dining room according to the salesperson.. Not suitable for large areas like living room... biggrin.gif

We are using it for a month till now.. So can't say how good Rubine fans are.. But quite a number of people said Rubine fans are actually good.. Better than Deka fans.. And before this, I was using KDK fan in my bedroom.. Electronic parts malfunction after 3+ years where the remote control cannot communicate with the fan... sweat.gif

Looking for Ceiling fan with light as my utility room does not have 2 electrical points. So thinking to use the only point for both that. Being quote by electrical shop KDK Nikko series RM 730. Is this a good buy or is there any brands that cheaper and reliable?

No idea.. I think it is the electronic board inside the fan.. Should be repairable and quite easy to do it.. If not mistaken, can get the parts needed at any electrical/electronic shops.. There are videos and articles on how to repair those in the internet but I still don't have the time to repair.. Keeping the spoilt one for now to be repaired in the future... biggrin.gif

It's a common problem for remote control fans. All u need to change is the big black capacitor CBB61 in your photo. Just get the same spec replacement from electronic shops, should be around 10-15rm
