i don't think Messi will leave now but anything can happen in 3-4 year from now, since i support Barca we always sell our magician (Romario,Stoickov,Ronaldo,Rivaldo,Ronaldinho) after they lost their magic
*
I will only believe that Barca is willing to sell a homegrown player after they sell Valdes, arguably the weakest link in our team. If they don't sell Valdes, then it is illogical for them to sell Messi, unless the right offer comes in.

Henrique will start next pre-season in Barcelona

user posted image

Catalan radio station Ona FM claims that Marcos Malaquías, the agent of Bayer Leverkusen central defender and Barcelona loan out Henrique (22), has met yesterday afternoon with Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain and Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola.

The club wanted to talk about about the future of Henrique and communicated that they have received positive reports and that they are satisfied with how the player has been adapting to European football so far this season.

Asked about the meeting, Malaquías said that the Brazilian defender will start preparing for next season at Barcelona: "Henrique needs to present himself in Barcelona in the month of July. The idea is that he starts the pre-season with Barcelona and that the staff will then decide later if he will stay with the team or if he will leave on loan again."

Milito returns to the pitch

user posted image

Barcelona central defender and Argentinian international Gabriel Milito (28) returned to Barcelona earlier this week and has started training at Barcelona's new training complex.

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Milito is expected to join the group training at the end of March, although Barcelona doesn't want to rush the recovery and gives the player all the time that is needed. Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Milito could already join the rest of the squad in one month time.

Racijng vs. Barcelona game review.

Messi is a football genius without a doubt. His 2nd goal is a pure strike.

Did he do a maradona? Looks like he rise up and chest trapped to his inside arms.

What guile!!!!

Anyways he is the number 1 footballer of this season.

How long Puyol will be out?

Nvm though, we will only be facing Gijon and Betis in Liga in 2 weeks time. Gijon should be an easy opponent, while against Betis, we have to stop their midfield, as their forwards ( etc. Sergio Garcia) will be useless without them.

Maybe we will get to see Caceres - Abidal paring for CB position, or worse, Pep may be tempted to try out Caceres - V. Sanchez pairing doh.gif doh.gif But Keita should play in the midfield IMO, to help cover the defense.

Btw, as usual, the highlights.

Er, I think we got more defensive problems now. Alves is now banned for one match for picking fifth yellow card during the Racing match, meaning he will be missing the Gijon match. doh.gif doh.gif

So how will our defensive line look like, without Marquez, Puyol, Gabi, Pique, and Alves? Will see Corcoles for the first time? Or Toure will be deployed in an unfamiliar position?

I think Kobe looks weird in a football jersey. His legs are too long laugh.gif laugh.gif

Maybe many of Barca fans feel frustrated as Arshavin now is officially a Gunner. We surely still remember Arshavin was so desperate to join us during last summer. He even confessed that he was a fan of Barca. And yet, Zenit was so stubborn to keep their 20-30 million Euros price tag. There was rumors that Barca was actually already interested in Arshavin since before the Euros. And his price tag then was taught to be around 8 million Euros only. Maybe that was the reason why Barca didn't want to buy him at 20 million Euros. Barca thought Arshavin was actually much cheaper. Don't know why Barca didn't buy him earlier. Maybe they decided that Hleb would be a better buy since Hleb was proven in two big leagues, while Arshavin only played in his native.

We missed out on Arshavin, now we have to get either Ribery or Gourcuff. I think Ribery will be better though. But I will be as happy if we can get Gourcuff the new Zidane.

Good game last a.m. Proved that we can play without messi, but with messi, we much better act. However, for me the MOM for this match was Iniesta.... Good capt & good midfielder....
