When will we be able to join the clubs? I'm planning to join that lo..

anyone has a full list of clubs..?

It can be found in the unofficial student handbook I think. What clubs would u guys be joining are already in?

Ii plan on joining toastmasters. as for other clubs, I have yet to decide (don't have the list )

there will be a clubs and societies fair from 10th to 12th october all around SA building. ALL active clubs and societies will have a booth on these days to promote and recruit new members for the academic year. Be sure to be there =)

=o I would like to join ACE club too ... didnt have join in year 2 .. hoping i can do it this year XD

join ACE is good... good for your cv as well...
the Dodgeball Tournament organised by ACE last year was a great success...

Wallstreet is another good club, organise Careers Event every year..

Regarding the post of secretary as listed by SA Entertainment Team, i wonder what's the job scope like..?

ACE stands for Action with Compassion and Empathy.

ACE's charity activities are like visiting various homes - old folks, mentally disable, orphanage, etc. We also "adopt a child" from world vision. You can google world vision and see what it is about.

And we will donate things over there, depending on what the homes need. We raise funds through our events. For example, last year's hot dog eating competition and also dodgeball. Our activities are really nice and something special.

So head on down to the club and society fair during 6-8 September, SA. There will be booth at the main entrance of SA and also upstairs, depending on which position the clubs prefer. Time is 11-4 PM. There are still various position in ACE available, like Vice secretary, event managers.

Oh and don't forget, join the ULTIMATE FRISBEE CLUB too. You will definitely won't be disappointed.

Will consider then. Back to uni soon. Miss uni life.

Hey anyone know about the 2nd Year Student Exchange program? It's a choice between UK and Ningbo. Is everyone eligible to take part, or is it only for a select few?

Everyone is eligible to take part, but depending on availability and whether your course is offered in either campuses. Ningbo has more slots while UK is lesser, especially the business school.

Generally you need to meet a result requirement and they will filter from there. Filtering is done by the international campuses, not the local one.

jasperng, u currently undergo 3rd year EnE? BEng or MEng? Wohhaaa,maybe we in d same class =P

sorry i dont have a full list of clubs and societies.. just head to SA building for a flea market of clubs and societies on 6~8th oct.

job scope includes writing meeting minute (usually less than a page or two), reading and and replying SA Ents official emails.. well basically monitoring the paperwork in and out of the organizing committee. But it doesnt end there.. hahha like for previous secretary, he led an organizing committee for the event Ms and Mr Nottingham, because he wants to and he is capable of.
