Hey guys. If I get accepted into nottingham malaysia undergraduate by IB predicted grades which is 36 points now at 5,7,6 at my highers. I asked whether or not they will need to see my final IB scores and they said they want to confirm it. But the thing is, all IB scores come out in August. So, if I get accepted first and then get something like a 5,5,5 (i don't think ill get that low though on my highers) do they still take me into consideration?

They will issue a conditional offer letter to you first. Only after you give them the actual result, they will issue a unconditional offer letter.

btw, anyone notice tiscra changed their pc to vista n office 2007? but it's quite slow thou.. =)

i've noticed a few changed to office 2007 a few months back.

Since i got my laptop, I seldom used tiscra, they were too slow. Nowadays a basic laptop costs about rm1700 to RM1900 only. Worthwhile to get one, saves you all the hassle.

Hmm, not being racist here, but yes there are a number of students from Africa over here, in fact in other colleges and unis also there are many nowadays in Malaysia.

Anyway, if you are asking the hot chick question, that means you are not really a female right?

The word negro shouldnt be used anymore in our generation. In the past, it was used as racist slur for African slaves in America and are deemed offensive and demeaning.

i tried looking up it's origins and the word came from latin: niger, or spanish: negro. both meaning black.
hmm so usually they're called the blacks too.

well i just came back from work and travel USA program. After staying there for almost 4 months, you'll realise that they use "African American" much more often than "black american" or something similiar. And trust me, unless u and him is long time pal, calling a black person nigga/negro or something similiar will offend them big time. Some of them do call each other nigga among their community, but when an outsider call them nigga, it is deemed offensive.
