That's the fault of the marketing staff if the marketing staff ever told the person that such scholarship can be applied. It's the fault of the person himself/herself that he/she does not find out if foundation is qualified for the newspaper scholarships. If it's the former, it can become a sue case, because that person got cheated.

Nonetheless, if it's the newspaper scholarships, it's by the newspapers, as far as I am concerned.
*
It's still under the University's legislation. Last time I asked newspaper scholarships only have the name under the newspaper's provider but at the end of the day the University is still in charge. Not to say that they have no power at all, but it's Uni > Newspaper.

One of the student backed out from my place last minute.
Now i have a whole fully furnished master room with a/c available. The room has 2 beds and everything.
Location in TTS 2/4B, and the house is fully furnished, a/c, tv, washing machine.
room taken, as well !

Also another male student who doesn't mind sharing a double room. room taken !

To those who are still looking for a room, venture a little further.
Either rooms are all taken, or will be paying a bomb for it.

You would be one of the blur kids around...

Just go, make friends, know the uni and its facilities better, and you will adapt alot easier during your initial stay here at the new place

I believe as long as it's within the 1st week or two of the semester, you can still register and enrol and be a student here.
Take your time.

though i'm just a new student at nottingham, i think some, or maybe all UK universities are like that. my older brother once was a bit late for the september intake in the university of hull in UK, and they said he could still come before the mid of october. you have to inform them that you'll be coming a bit late and take note about the deadline.

I believe there is no problem for that.
It can't be that all people entering on Friday will not be having their cooling period, right?

But to be on the safe side, send in an email. If it's within the 48 hours period, they can't argue too much.
If they want to argue and refuse, just come here. We can bring up the case.
