help! i was offered accommodation on campus but i couldn't open my email to check, and now it passed dateline already

so stupid of me! now i'm trying to contact the office

in the mean time, if all else fails, i am looking for a room/house to rent (i prefer off campus rather than on actually.. then i can bring my car)

i'm female, 20, going to start my first year this september

if anyone got info, do tell me. edu square, tts,.. i don't mind at all at least i got a place to stay

how's the internet access at the on-campus accommodation? do they block certain websites?

i think P2P is always blocked in every universities because the mass downloading may interfere with the speed. what i was wondering was, can websites like youtube, facebook, metacafe, twitter, etc. be accessed?

how does the public transport work around nottingham? i would like to know how to get to a) tesco and b) bandar baru bangi.

i made my application later than you, which is on 1st sept. i have received accommodation for on campus the next day, 2nd sept. fast huh? i was surprised; first time i applied it took them 2 months to give answer until i missed the dateline to pay already. this is the 2nd time i apply for accommodation and have securely booked for it. phew~! dunno la these office people.. =/

i have been offered a room on campus but i haven't known which hall just yet. i have made the booking payment already, about 2 weeks ago. will pioneer century be informing which room i will have after they have done processing the payment or will they tell me upon my arrival for checking in?

which ATM machine is available in the campus?

i sent an email to pioneer century, and they replied that they have confirmed my booking. so does that mean that i can check in by this week? just want to make sure..

crap-- rm60?? i will be checking in tomorrow and do i have to pay that whole amount to get the wifi for only a few days in this month?

though i'm just a new student at nottingham, i think some, or maybe all UK universities are like that. my older brother once was a bit late for the september intake in the university of hull in UK, and they said he could still come before the mid of october. you have to inform them that you'll be coming a bit late and take note about the deadline.
