I was a foundation student and I found out myself about Athens connected sites, and how to use them.
Most of my peers didn't know about it.

Most of it useless lor. But sometimes there will be one or two articles (actually maybe one small fraction of a paragraph) that serve as miracle to the assignment/coursework.. hehe. But very seldom.

The athens thing is something like a journal subscription that the university pays for. So you can use it for free. Just have to go get an account. If you don't know how to, just go ask the library desk staff and they will show u on screen. hehe.

Haha nvm, me too, didn't go through any induction.
It's all alrite, all fine, don't fret.
The only downside is..hmm..maybe blur for one extra day only, or miss out the chance of making one or two new friends.

the programme i went through: Foundation in Business and Management,
is not on the list of approved courses by LAN (MQA).

However, Foundation in CSIT / Engineering are on the list.

Does have a cafeteria for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

It's usually enough for the general public,

but if really doesn't suit your taste/standards,

there're two more options

1. phone delivery from the nearby restaurants

2. go out for meals... within 5km radius there are: mamaks, chinese restaurants, fast food centres, etc. abit further there's kajang satay, probably 15km.

Registration is early 20+ september.
So classes should commence somewhere around there.

uhmmm, not quite sure, haha. by official figures, the university has got 3000 students.

Should be. lol. Can check up the name on the university email address list.
Based on the name, at first I thought she was an indian or chindian, turned out to be muslim.
Dunno anything about her, been quite some time since I watch TV, lol, usually just buy DVDs for RM8, master copy gold disc. lolz. Next comes torrents.



There's a bookstore on campus, you should be able to get most books that your lecturer recommends there.
You can also get books from seniors, they usually come at half price or even less.
What I do is I photostat the books, lol, copyright or not, i dun care, it's still cheaper (some books cost up to RM100+). unless I can find a 2nd hand copy that's cheaper than photostating.
Anyway, if you stay on campus, you can just borrow it from the library.

Oh btw, you're from Ipoh? I heard people from Ipoh dunno how to drive... haha.. If anyone drives there, be sure to park at least half a meter away from the next car, not too close, coz they suck at driving, might scratch your car in the process of parking, etc. lol.. Ipoh guy told me this.

I finished my foundation this year, am now waiting to enter First Year.. BSc Finance, Accounting and Management. And you? Currently in Engineering Foundation?

hmm, celebrity or not, our uni is filled with some prominent people, e.g. super rich people in their respective country, and some even linked to royalty..etc. Everyone just keeps a low profile, that explains why you don't see her around, hehe.

There's a futsal pitch, it's outdoor though, vulnerable to sun and rain.
There's a football field too, but it's not properly kept up to standards.
There's an outdoor basketball area too.
Indoor sports would be badminton, table-tennis, gymnasium, and squash.
Some equipments in the gym have been broken for quite some time, not fixed.
