Well, U can drop by the Nottingham and look for SA officer / head in office hour for renting a room in TTS area. They can provide you more details because all the ad comes to them.
*
I don't think they're able to do that, although if they are free and helpful they might help you by re-emailing the ads to you.

The ads are in the form of classifieds which are sent to gerard, who then compiles it and send it out periodically in the form owa mail titled classifieds. so probably you can email him for assistance.

Greetings all, just wondering if any of you currently taking MBA in Nottingham? how is it? Is part - time studying available?
*
I believe part time courses will be conducted at the teaching centre in KL city centre.

Full time should be at semenyih campus. Please email to confirm.

I don't recall anyone in the forum here taking MBA in Nottingham.

What I should and shouldn't do ( common sense stuff which is not listed in the regulation list ) in the Campus ?
*
Basically what you wouldn't do in public, practice courtesy and politeness, as well as remember you're in a Muslim country, with many Muslim foreigners too. Besides Muslim, there are also many students from various ethnicity and religion, therefore, be courteous and reserved.

You certainly need the receipt to prove that you have made payment. I believe there is no problem to do it like that, ie show them on registration day. How about faxing them instead?

(Anyway, don't take my word solely. Make your own judgment.)
*
Since you're gonna print, just email a copy of the receipt to the email address stated in the payment request paper.

And follow up for a confirmation of receipt from them.

And subsequently you can print a copy (of the payment receipt that you have emailed them, as well as the confirmation of receipt from them) and bring it along on registration day, just in case.

Batusai,

I know you are trying to be good, but I am not sure if it's appropriate to just disclose the email sent to us. Those emails, as far as I am concerned, are not owned by the users, but the service provider, which is Nottingham.
*
I believe it's okay. Since accommodation will be provided only to UNMC students anyway.'
And new students won't be seeing these ads until it's too late for them, so assisting them here would be a good thing.
Classifieds mail (those sent out by the student association manager, Gerard, are usually sent out on behalf of students).

*
No rules on hair. Uni's pretty easy going.

Just adhere to all laws of Malaysia (which also encompasses decent dressing) and you'll be fine.

Oh yeah and strictly no alcohol on campus.

wheres the location ?

Oops, forgot to include that sweat.gif

Location: Cheras

Cheras is the 2nd nearest (closest is kajang), fully matured township nearest to uni, I believe.
That being said, my housing area is on high grounds, close to lush greeneries.

if you believe you are capable, with skills for the above, do pm me for a casual chat.

*note: this is not an offer, just a casual inquiry

Arent those activities done by the student association ?
*
i should say 50% of the entertainment events (bigger scale) on campus are organised by the Entertainments Team, which is part of the Student Association, but consist of team members that are mostly not included in the Student Association's usual chores.

Good explanation? laugh.gif

I think WiMax is not in Semenyih yet.
Celcom broadband is available but I am not sure about its strength.

For me, SNS is alright. I am not a big fan of P2P so no torrent is okay for me.
If you want P2P, SNS is not good for you.
SNS does provide good speed for normal downloads like those from rapidshare though.
*
WiMax is not available in many places. Even my place doesn't have it, but 1km away from my place has it sad.gif

Can check their coverage online though.

Celcom, as far as I've experienced, got a little bit of coverage in semenyih, but slow or intermittent until cannot work.
Didn't even work in Cheras for me, nor Seremban. hmm.gif

So..I really dunno. Probably install satellite internet? I've yet to hear someone try that.. hehehe

I believe Celcom has coverage in Seremban. The promotion activity has been strong here and they are selling without accelerator.
I do see people using Celcom broadband in playing online game, not sure if they use the accelerator or not.
(Accelerator is what makes Celcom broadband expensive. With that device, you can get good speed even at places with poor coverage.)
*
Oh, I guess they've improved then.. smile.gif More choices for everyone.

I forgot the link, but you can go to the Sports Complex, and at the office window there's a link posted there. That website can only be accessed within Uni. If you're asking specifically how to book it within the website, I dunno..haha

Some of my friends successfully got an on-campus offer in Kapas hall after calling this number.
03-62507577

That number, after googling it, seems like a KL office for the accommodation management.

Or maybe not. My best guess is a company that does some renovation for the uni, which also owns some rooms there which they got it at a preferred price.

No idea who is responsible for those rooms. But that way does work, at least few days ago.
*
Or maybe an agent.. haha

So, better call fast and don't delay if you wanna secure your accommodation.

Keep trying!

RM34000 is degree programme student rite? Why you copied the foundation? confusing..

QUOTE
For Undergraduate students:

1.100% of one academic year fee upon registration at the start of Semester 1 of the academic year or

2.50% of one academic year fee upon registration at the start of the Semester 1 and the balance 50% of the academic year fee at the start of Semester 2 of the academic year (semester basis) or

3.25% of one academic year fee upon registration at the start of the Semester 1 and another 25% of the academic year fee one month later in the same semester. 25% of one academic year fee at the start of the Semester 2 and the balance 25% of the academic year fee one month later in the same semester.
So, from the above, you can pay (within 1 year):

1. RM34000 (total fees for the year: 2 sem)
2. RM17000 when beginning Semester 1, and another RM17000 at the start of Semester 2.
3. RM8500 when beginning Semester 1, and another RM8500 one month later. Thereafter, RM8500 when beginning Semester 2, and another RM8500 one month later.
