Question 2: I found out that bluetooth headset is only for "voice input", means mic function. Sound still need to come from the TV or sound output. Is this really the case?? And is it the same even if I use USB headset?

Hmmm.. very disappointed if it's true

1) most games are on worldwide server...means any region can play together..but certain games are region specific...like in Mercenaries (based on net reports).

2) You can set the output of the sound of other people talking can be set either thru the headset of thru the TV...go into settings...to set them up

my ps3 froze for the first time. so I ejected the disc first then force it shut down. (hold down the off button for a few sec)

is this scenario is normal for ps3? and it will it effect the ps3 hardware?

i do think u will get the answer on the first page...its happen sometimes on ps3.

Usually this is just one of those rare moments when a PS3 overheats or the game "glitches" into a freezing your PS3.

Happened to me once as well when I played Uncharted, it glitched my PS3 and it froze. Restarted and never had a problem again.

my ps3 got some problem after my friend play mgs and turn off like usual.

when turn on the screen turn black and i turn on my gamepad ,

both of them seem din receive any signal from ps3 and keep 4 red light blinking.

i can on off by pressing I/O and the disc drive seems working ( can suck and eject disc )

i'm using HDMI 1080i res so far.

any of you guys here got the same problem like me?

may be u can do this method, press and hold the I/O button keep on holding it till 2nd beeping sound..(reset the console)

First of all, i stay at uni dorm, it has proxy and one MAC add allows
So i hav to connect my ps3 thru pc by ICS method.
However, i encountered one error code 80028EA6. where i dunno how to solve. it happens right after i key in the proxy server of my uni.
without key in the proxy it gives timed out error.

the game i currently have is RR7 and i tried to play it online...but when i searched for rooms to play in it gave me an error saying the response timed

out...either tht or i keep getting signed out of my account...

i need help n advise here. recently i created a new entropay credit card. but i cant register it into the PS3 store. the msg is "credit card information is not valid, please check your entries carefully". i checked the details a lot of times. but still cant. my ps3 account is US. somebody please helppppp. tq. before this ok je.

Hi guys, wanna ask what are the procedures in getting warranty claim for PS3 in Singapore? I think the address isn't that important but valid contact number is needed. Is the current online registration still same where we put it as "a gift" and so on? No need others like mentioned at front page just the serial number but I want to know more detail to avoid mistakes and such. Thanks.

im also searching for the carry case for the PS3 , but the bad news is most of them considered ugly...but i will go to GamersHideout today just browsing for it , incase they got it , ill PM u.

but i've been informed that the above-mentioned carrying case will be available for sale at sony style soon.. perhaps on the ps3 launching day onwards

Hi guys, I just got myself a PS3 last weekend (40Gig R3) but yesterday I spent hours and hours trying to get online.

I have followed so many guides online, It will just not connect!

My main PC is on a wired connection but I use my PSP, Dopod phone and Laptop all on the wireless connection without any problems.

If I scan on the PS3 it finds my wireless network and says its at 95% so no problems there.

If I ask it to obtain a IP address then on connection test it will time out while obtaining IP address.

If I go through, manually set an IP address and all the other details it will pass that part but then fail to connect to the internet.

I have tried disabling the WEP and it still wont connect.

Its driving me crazy! Has anyone else had this problem? I'm just about ready to try anything as I have run out of ideas what to try next.
