All that i can c is..if the PSU position is at the bottom..look like cable management can be arrange clean & tidy but if it's opposite than that..will be messy & difficult to arrange it..but surelly all it depend on RIG owner lar..

I think it's the same ,bottom psu and top, depends on the casing design, nice

casing u can just simply hide the cables behind mobo.

What is that thingy u put at the bottom fan, kinda like a stand for the fan. I think this can lower fan noise in my casing.

I don't think additional stand can lower fan noise because you just added extra pieces of item to 'shake' around. Unless you also add some covering metarial like foam. I think foam will be the best material around, which I plan to cover it around my HDD, since my HDD make pretty much of 'deep' sounds...

yup,i agree with u.
me too dont think that additional stand can lower the noise.
unless, its up to ur creativity to add some sort of foam,to absorb the sound.
i believe foam is the material available to absorb sound.
correct me if im wrong.

yup, But careful not to place foam anywhere, it may obstruct with your cooling! For example if we want to cover our HDD, only cover the side that it contact with the rack, don't cover the top and buttom... Cuz if you cover them, the air won't able to flow through them...

there also people leave the foam at the back of the mobo (which come in the box probably) attached while they screw the mobo on the back tray. This is real danger cuz the heat won't able to dispatch from the back. Also, due to the heat, probably the foam will even melt or burn!

I mean, I'm using delta fan at the lower part. I tried lifting a few cm from the bottom, the sound noise greatly decrease since rite now the fan is sitting down (no screws) making a whooshing sound. Tho I'm thinking of cutting away the mesh at the bottom hmm.gif

that is actually just normal long screw which i use to level up my sanyo denki fan... if i put my fan at the bottom (without the screw) there will be minimum airflow so i decided to kinda put it up higher to get maximum airflow...

btw, the noise is madness but the airflow is around 110cfm brows.gif
