have u seen our cases??? like mfcm's case, my A10 is BTX'ed....so its really far between port and HDD.....

as for the resistance thing....ive used both short and long cables.... from 10cm to the ones that come with the mobo to 1 meter long.....

no difference

every type of cable has their limits when it comes to length....guess 1 meter is still within a sata cable's limit...

dats wat i can did wit 1meter sata cable sorry forgot where i put back pic of mobo tray
yeah 5hdds load plus 1 dvd writer but since the optical drive at top n near the sata port then i jus use normal sata cable..so in total 6 sata cables being use..
frankly if u use 75cm sata cable mite be enuf but yeah need to c how the cable u gonna hide or manage..coz it u slide n hide here n there route to sata port then mite be not long enuf..but if directly from hdd straight up to sata port w/o hide anywhere i think can use 75cm..i jus take precaution for 1meter sata cable

yup..cosmos S..prob is..the cable are not long enought..but i shall try tonite..but still..i love the see the "snakes"

hehe myb differ ppl differ taste..but still luv if it been proper manage..these few example below from forumer rig come wit UV mode..tied wit cable tie and untie but proper manage

proper cable management will improve air ventilation of course

thats the main purpose, and made ur inner rig looks neater too...

anas the atx 24pin cannot route straight from dvdrom cage?the other black cable izzit pcie cable?cannot hide abit more?ur FM123 cable for controller myb can route under mobo or let it crawl on the mobo rather let it be lidat
