Pretty headach with cables... Just got my Sagitta (hei, my FIRST gaming case anyway...). And the case itself got hell lot's of plugs for LEDs, Fans... O_O" Spend a few days figure out a plan to make them looks nice. I route those molex to behind (extend them if too short, all too short...). Also made a piece of cover for the buttom of the case (internal) to cover up some messy cables underneath it (urgh, will cut out a dragon florescent sticker and put on the cover...) Before: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « After: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Not completed yet... Stupid prinnter ink dried out can'r print my dragon sticker... " This post has been edited by M1X: Aug 19 2008, 09:41 AM

I don't think additional stand can lower fan noise because you just added extra pieces of item to 'shake' around. Unless you also add some covering metarial like foam. I think foam will be the best material around, which I plan to cover it around my HDD, since my HDD make pretty much of 'deep' sounds...

yup, But careful not to place foam anywhere, it may obstruct with your cooling! For example if we want to cover our HDD, only cover the side that it contact with the rack, don't cover the top and buttom... Cuz if you cover them, the air won't able to flow through them...
there also people leave the foam at the back of the mobo (which come in the box probably) attached while they screw the mobo on the back tray. This is real danger cuz the heat won't able to dispatch from the back. Also, due to the heat, probably the foam will even melt or burn!

There should be a spacing between your graphic card and mobo (anything possible, just creative ma...), why don't route the 24-pin cable in there or along the GC...? Or, you can try sleeve it further till the socket (hide it nicely), then route then below your rear exhaust fan. But is it long enough? What a weird mobo........ Cable management also means you need to mod your cable and sockets. If not long enough you sambung sendiri or buy extensions. Though at the front might looks neat. But I can't promise my casing other side and buttom..... LOL!

I really want to tell Raidmax : please expand more space behind the mobo tray !!! basiclly you can't fit anything behind the mobo tray of most of their casing. Saggita because the border touch the cover, for other casing because the tray actually screwed with the cover (which you totally pull out the cover + tray + expansion slot holes).
So where we go? Buttom and top of casing is the best choice to hide cables ... @_@ (I do buttom)

Actually what I think is it... if you can't hide it, then show it! Er, I think some plastic transparent tubes works well... Makes people think those was water tubes, but when they get close to see... heehaha. And put some random LED in those tubes... Hmm, nice idea. XD

1 meter ?! Will that lenght affect the signal ..... I thought most internal cables only limit to half a meter ...

Actually that messy looks, also nice though. Just hide your CCFL somewhere else. Cuz you don't overwhelme it, that's nice.

Another thing I usually did was, hide those cables on the 'environment'.
That means, I paint my inner casing black, then warp all those 'unwanted' cables in black, thus able to 'hide-on-the-environment'...
Woah, black inner side really rocks, bro...............

That's what a gaming rig should be, looks good and perform good... ah... But not everyone got that kind of money to burn though... =/ Btw, what the earth is that casing? Custom made? The 'architecture' is awsome This post has been edited by M1X: Mar 19 2009, 01:41 PM
