I watched a documentary today about birds. Birdkeepers in a small fishing village in Southern China use Cormorant birds to help them haul in their catch. It appears that in these birdkeeping society, the children in the family must learn the language of the Cormorant and remember it at a very early age, or else they will forget and never be able to learn.
