Yes.. its all about high quality caps and that yellow thing although acceptable, can be better! 

That 10uF that I use does reduce the 'brightness' as compared to using just 2uF.

I have this wild idea about bi-amping; the amp feeding the tweeter will have 2uF input caps,while the amp driving the woofers will have a 10uF input caps! 

Since I already have that configuration, I will do that!!! 

I'd say 4.7uF would be midway between my 10uF and 2uF experimentation. 6uF would be perfect!
4.7uF would be a lil bit 'more' bass

Yes,quality is everything, that Panasonic caps would be just great!

Saw the [M] logo. Panasonic? No idea. Have never used them before. Expensive?

On my side, after the listening session, I have to conclude that I love the T-Amp sounds with a linear PSU.
It has to be as good as my Bench PSU or better. I would NOT settle for any less.. 

Actually the housing that I have is even bigger! It's supposed to housea pre-amp and it's PSU, a power amp and it's PSU and mains RFI board.
That project was on hold.. looks like I will use it for the T-Amp.. a definite overkill! 

I bought a (high quality) pre-amp kit a while back for another project.
I thought of using it with the T-Amp.
I won't use a simple pot for it
At least use a simple buffered pre-amp for the T-Amp... 
omg.. too much 'amp'ing here.. 

In a quest to find out how far the T-Amp can and will go, I will!
Bear in mind, I am using my reference pre-amp (a Yamaha) along this while.
It would be interesting to find out how far you can stretch the budget with electronic kits.
I am all for 'bang per buck' setups
Anyway, it won't be happening until the weekends.. need to rebuild the power supply for the kit pre-amp as I am using it for 'something' else..

I just remembered why I did not use the pre-amp on my other amp, it was insanely accurate and sensitive, revealing almost, if not all the 'flaws' from the source.. amplified everything, noise included! 

So far, the Amp-1 or Patient 1 has clocked 11 hours, while Amp-2 or Patient 2 managed 14 hours.
At this juncture Amp-2 is the sweet performer due to the 10uF input caps. I will keep the current configuration for my bi-amping setup which I am planning this week, among other things like the above..

Quite tempting, i been looking for the T-amp chip for long time. gonna hold my desire first, need to save up some money before getting crazy into DIYing again.

Jazzy939: inductance meter is not cheap toy, if u consider china brand is different issue. but why not consider getting a digital scope?

ongbs, u also put more piclah nolah i havent replace those inductor, foil 1 are nice thos...but bloody expensive

jazzy if you can do some air core low inductance and resistance unit, why not! they are easy to make...yes but no inductance metermah.

yes. one of the application for this Class D is as a sub woofer amplifier, pro amplifier and mixer amplifier.
Let me get an initial price quote. If its low enough for us to 'play play' may I'll do a bulk, yes?

As I earlier mentioned, at RM55 for the basic board, it's Best Bang per Buck Amp! 
The TA2020 might be better, in terms of slightly higher power. I have NOT heard it, so I cant pass any judgement on it.
My system is now singing, sounding the best I have heard for the last 20 years I am in HiFi..
As far as I am concerned, the TA2024 still RULEZ!
