upgraded to 2.0.1 fw as of now thanks for the guide, guys lost all my apps though. i can recover them by copy pasting by ssh right? i copied all the files by ssh before pwning. if it's that simple, would be great.

not all 1.1.14 apps is usable on 2.0.1.. some available in cydia..

lol. after i tried pasting back all my 1.1.4 apps/other files/data (with iphonebrowser), reboot and the whole thing hanged. panicked. redo the whole same process n restored my iphone settings through itunes. back to normal but with no new apps. yet. thanks for the help, guys. good to be in the club

obee.. just use the new apps that available in cydia and appstore... sometimes we just have to sacrifice something for the better good, if not worse.

ZiPhone can jailbreak fw2.0 meh? Like we always said ... don't use ZiPhone or later u'll be screwed. Now got one mangsa already.

Just repwn your iphone with winpwn 2.0.0.4 and hope that your wifi problem goes away. Just stay away from Ziphone permanently.

hey, i found something that might help you guys out in this 2.0.1 (since 2.0.2 is not stable at the moment)

i try flashing one of my friend's iphone to 2.0.1. 1st attempt to restore but failed. then the second time, i try my method; which is quite a time consuming one.

I restore the original 2.0.1 FW into the iphone, then after it finishes, i put it into DFU mode, and then restore again with the custom FW. no error 16xx, only error 6 for the 1st time and due to incomplete DFU mode. i have to uninstall the whole itunes, reinstall and do it from scratch.

becoz i find one thing very surprising... when i enter DFU mode, itunes recognized it but did not pop up the msg of detecting iphone's DFU mode. then when i restore halfway, it says Error 6 which is supposed to be DFU not entered correctly(error1-99 is consider DFU not entered correctly by sleepers).

there is also another possibility that when i build ipsw, i selected bootneuter and WITH option to upgrade bootloader; which contradict the steps where i shouldnt select. so when i start back from scratch, i didnt select upgrade bootneuter and becoz i reinstall itunes, now there is a msg popup for detecting DFU mode. and walah~ i restore it back to 2.0.1... and i get a free dinner from my friend.

DFU mode is actually very very tricky... i dun know if after a iphone did a DFU and the pc already recognized, save the data of the DFU into system hence leads to no popup for 2nd DFU input, or my timing just not right...
