i think i will like 2.0.1 if i wanted to upgrade it tonight despite the kill switch it has. but actually i am not too sure if i wanted to use FW2.0.1 on my aifonej or shud i just wait for aifontriji next year. I mean, 1.1.4 didnt fail me abit...

- is a simple search will do harm to you?
- as for the guides that phailed you, are they(guides) promised to give 100% success rates or
- do they(the guide writer) owe you a perfect guide for upgrades?
- Is it hard for you to restart the steps again if failed?
- Do you require spoonfeeding?

if you want for a idiotproof method of doing this, wait for it ;not ask/demand for it. I am sure there is someone from iclarified will be doing it. I did my 1st unlocking + jailbreaking with those guides, done successfully. If i can do it, why cant you? Or each of every minutes of yours is so expensive and u cant afford to lose a minute?

darn.. my iphone corrupted and now leads me to update it to 2.0.1..

lol... kawtim the downloads and building ispw, now just left me going back to the house and plug my DFUed iphone... and restore!

but when it mention shift restore, does that mean i have to press shift key while clicking restore?

never regret the day i pwned my iphone to 2.0.1... hehehehhehe
sleepers guide is the guide that i use, 1 time try kawtim (except that i use the original fw instead of custom ones)... but nothing big happen.

just follow step by step, there shud be nothing wrong. the DFU mode is already mention in sleepers, that it shud be blank instead of cable+itune icon. if that happens, all you need is switch it off and do it again.
