I got these 3 trees from MHY last week.
A black pine

2 junipers

These r the 2 special guava species I was talking about.
This one with a lighter tone on the outer leaves & melon like stripes on its fruits.


This one has a very reddish bark & lighter tone on the inner leaves.

I've heard a comment that Malaysia govt do not allow export of bonsai. Plants in general I guess.

Nice cute WR bonsailelong. I also wanted to do a baobab for a while but can't find time yet. Funny looking tree. Worth a go.

There's limited bonsai nursery that I know of. I usually frequent San Fong at semenyih, soon Li at Oug & Sg Buloh.
I stay in puchong too.

Very nice.
But I have no idea whether my small leaves wrightia is same or not. Like not possible to reach this size hahaha. So huge.

Installed a double layer metal rack for my plants. Galvanized & powder coated. Hopefully won't rust so easy.
Now on a standing view. Like the top a bit too high.

Otherwise wife says my garden too messy. Like planting shrubs only. So painful to hear after putting so much time LOL ....
Now have to do up the auto watering part.

I just got one too, a very small tree from San Fong few days back when I went to get Pasir Malang.

The branches all kalam kabut. Need to spend some time realigning... Didn't dare to touch yet as just repotted.
I'm also wondering if I should add a rock to the twisty roots or besides the plant itself.

Think I won't let this tree grow much unless I change the overall shape. I'll just rearrange the branches with wires.

Yes I repotted. It's slightly larger pot now. U r so observant & good memory too.

Just to share. My friend got this surinam cherry from San Fong yesterday. Straight from nursery stock to pot. A little more work & it should look like a nice bonsai d. Love the bark.

Good test bro. I definately need to have some.

Brett, we got a member here with Japanese maple on the ground for more than 5 years & still going strong. I got 1 myself & it's healthy until almost got damaged by contractors few weeks back. On the ground recuperating now... Hehehe.
