Thanks for the info. The thing is, if insecticide what it does is it puts a dent on the ant population. They will regroup and come back. I've read before that there are some type of chemical/poison where the ants will bring back to their nest and therefore kill the ant. Still trying to find this chemical. If I am not wrong, its borax or boric acid. Hey, you deal with chemical right? Any lubang?

Er.... I'm not in the insecticides line. Hahaha. Anyway I've heard of the technique in called baiting. But I don't think u can actually eradicate ants. Just make the condition unfavourable may discourage them to invade your territory.

Anyone seen this? It attached to my Barbados cherry but doesn't seem to harm the tree. It has many on the tree. All in all almost a dozen. It can easily be removed.

Nice tree. Especially with fruits. When dark the fruits are quite nice to eat... wink.gif

By itself it looks nice. A method to improve it is to fatten the current apex or to use fat 1st branch as apex. Both have pros and cons. But whatever you want to do, I think ket it increase vigor first. (Because of the fight) This months are the best times.

Thx CJ, I almost wanted to plant this onto ground & let it be a fruit tree. Hahaha. It's a tree with many wrongs but getting pretty. Kind of like with proper makeup & dressing to hide imperfections.

Maybe I should try tilting the tree & use the fattest section as the main trunk line? Bottom trunk I'll have to wait for the nebari to build up.
Looks good? I'll try... Hahaha

What's that about petbrat? Something happened? I didn't even noticed.
Anyway I gave my tots. It's a helpful thread for me. At least I know I'm not alone crazy about trees. Now I even got kaki to visit nurseries.
I got valuable info here that saved my mulberries....

Oh about that Melaka trip, it's an eye opener! I got a black pine & 2 junipers.
They have lots of wrightia planted on the ground & ready to be dug out for potential buyers. So many that impossible to scan all in a day!
The boss mr Chong is also the president of kelab bonsai Melaka. Very friendly. We only got to view one side of the nurseries. The other one he said got more..
Oh and interesting trees include the orange & red flower wrightia. 2 species of guava that I've never seen. I'll post pix another day.
