WHAT MOD ARE YOU GUYS USING FOR THE COD4 CHALLENGE???? PAM4 mod, PROMOD, Mod warfare or what?

look @ the current ruleset, is taken from samsung king of the hill one. it should be the edited pam4skoth mod. I thinking we should use the wcg ruleset which is closer to promod but we can edit it to remove the sniper fix to make it cod-ish

What team?

Just want some clarifications on the R & R for COD 4 5v5. Abit blur about some parts.

1. S&D is played on all 5 maps correct?
2. Perks can only be chosen from the ones provided in the list is it?
3. Most weapons such as the LMG class, almost all the sniper weapon class and stun grenades are not allowed?
4. What do you mean by the game format stating "Players are not allowed to load their own classes."?
5. Lastly, when will single elimination be played?

p.s. reserve a COD 4 team slot for [PAR]. Will send in registration once the questions are answered so i can explain to my team mates. chillio

humm, y must follow international, we got our own cod community ... we already agreed to follow the last competition rule from new era .... match wif register fees ... it's not worthed to play only snd .... organizer, plz consider it again ....

i think most of msia cod4 clan .... already familiar wif msian standard rules ....

ps.... this is not cs .... wat is cod4 without stunt, c4, clamore,

no hq, no domination, no tdm,

i just suggesting cos from the looks of the new ruleset is adapting the international ruleset so i just gave the updated stuff. Sorry if i offended anyone with that comment.

yes, the Malaysian COD4 community has their own rules set but i believe to bring our local scene to the level of teams like from Singapore and even Indonesia, we need to start adapting to the international rules set..


local scene can only go so far..

Every one has their own set of rules. If I wanted to make my own tournament, I could have a Sabotage game and all knife only! New Era finalised the R&Rs of their own future tournaments. This tournament isn't organized by New Era.

BUT, if somebody has already paid and then a changein the R&R was made, I think the team who has paid should be given the chance for a refund or proceed. Their choice.

Agree. We should play with international rule set. Even the coming WGT the rules almost the same. Malaysia WGT, Singapore WGT and Indonesia WGT using the same R&R.

the only i feel sad about malaysia COD4 tournaments
it's because they don't have the fixed rules
keep changing from time to another
it's hard to concentrate
why not just pakai pam4 mod
just follow the international standard lah
seriously...for me TDM is just for fun
SND is the best mode for tournament

walaneh...i just read the rules....srsly, what do you want me to use??

perk 1 is 100% bandy edi...why cannot use claymores or c4? without clays and c4, bomb squad auto-negates, so we only can use bandy? but srsly, why would i need 180 bullets in SnD ? too many do's and dont's, im not sure if i breathe also can or not.

weapons also limited, perks lagi limited, mode no choice. registration very expensive relative to prizes given....

and i must add, Sky is a horrible place to have a competition. Yes, you can replace mouse and keyboard with ur own....but the screen? too small. CPU - too laggy, graphics not good.

Added on August 17, 2008, 9:32 amAdapt to the international rule set. Many teams are prefer international rule set too. The registration fees not RM 100 per team as mentioned by the organizer in the previous page. The venue is not at Sky. It's at Sunway Rock Cafe.

So far 16 teams already booked their place for CoD4.

3 teams still pending waiting for confirmation from their boss.

its always better to have a fixed ruleset that is used internationally.

There will be no group stages, single elimination all the way..

if u dun mind i can help out in answering that. If u guys were to use the pam4mod. u do not have to load ur own custom kits cus u can customise ur kit @ any pt of the game.
