yes, the Malaysian COD4 community has their own rules set but i believe to bring our local scene to the level of teams like from Singapore and even Indonesia, we need to start adapting to the international rules set..
local scene can only go so far.. |

QUOTE(EzPeaceZ @ Aug 17 2008, 01:07 PM) if u dun mind i can help out in answering that. If u guys were to use the pam4mod. u do not have to load ur own custom kits cus u can customise ur kit @ any pt of the game. yes, to get used to pam4 mod, u guys can join local CERT server, ip available at the COD4 thread at Gamers Hideout section of this forum.their version of Pam4 is not optimised* for the current rules, but it will give u guys the general idea on what Pam4 is i think the Jedi server and a few other SG server are running this as well |

QUOTE(affr0boy @ Aug 17 2008, 04:17 PM) omg seriously, the ffa is rm50 per person! lolx.. i DON'T have all the money in the world to pay such high fees.. certainly not gonna pay rm50 for FFA, i doubt only a few people are gonna join it with such a high feeR they tryin to dig gold from us? -.- and first price is rm300. seriously. lets say max ppl is 30. 30x rm50 = rm1500 and first price is rm300! u got to be kidding me. this is ridiculous. no offence. ACGC was FOC. well i dont noe bout u james if u got all d money to join but personally for me, im not much of a rich guy. competitions like these definitely attracts alot of people's attention. but i haf to agree with marvin. Its very obvious wat the organizers r doing. but on 2nd hand, rules and reg its fine by me. EZ PEACE I SECOND UR IDEA ON CHANGING SNIPER! rawrrr. but I prefer our originality from the blitzone torney whereby all leaders from COD4 clan came and discuss on how we set our rules and reg b4 we start to follow Europeans. y not make the Europeans follow our trend instead? Pam4 / promod makes cod4 exactly like cs. So what difference does it shows compare to both Cod 4 and CS? Let us malaysians be special our own ways and we'll see how other countries adapt to OUR rules and reg. Im hereby not offending anybody or anyone, but just speaking my mind. If i ever do offended anyone, my apologize to u first. but this is my honest opinion. I may be a nobody but at least its worth sharing. To the organizers, i hold no grudges against u but pls consider on changing a few things on registration. For rules and reg, im all for it. kthxbai. im just saying its the organizers event and they have the right to set their rules, fees.. they might have other overheads to cover thats why they are charging so high but it would be nice if organizers heed the feedback form forumers here This post has been edited by james2306: Aug 17 2008, 04:53 PM |

alright
good to see that the organizers are willing to compromise and listen to us. the issues i see so far are: 1. The high Fees for FFA and also for 5v5 but i guess the 5v5 one is still manageable 2. The R&R: Okay, i understand having SnD (not Hardcore) only for all the matches, but banning 75% of the perks is unnecessary. I suggest the following Perk 1: C4 Claymore Bandolier Bomb Squad C4s and Claymores make the game such an intense tactical game. I mean its one of the things COD4 has which no other FPS that i know of has. Also if u have C4s and Clays u need Bomb Squad to balance it out. Perk 2 Stopping Power Juggernaut Sleight Of Hand Double Tap UAV Jammer Now, i added UAV Jammer coz teams should be able to call for UAV, but no Airstrikes and Helo is acceptable Perk3 Steady Aim Last Stand Deep Impact Iron Lungs Eavesdrop Last Stand is another one of the things which is very much exclusive to COD4..Please do not take this out. EC also should be considered but i personally think it gives a person too much of an advantage. Now, these are the perks that i personally feel should be left alone with as its very much makes COD4 what it is. I just hope the organizers take these into consideration when they make alterations to their R&R. This post has been edited by james2306: Aug 18 2008, 08:52 PM |

im sure many are willing to compromise on the Game Mode as i said in my post regarding the perks issue on PG13 (which im happy to see u guys have discussed and amended)
u guys can have SnD on 1 map for the elimination stages.. lets say SnD Crash till u get to the top 8, then make it SnD best of 3 maps.. and the 1st and 2nd map chosen by respective teams with the last one chosen by marshal or jointly agreed by both teams.. so this way, u get thru DAY 1 when there is alot of teams fast with single elimination SnD then Day 2 will be longer with the top teams fighting out over 2/3 maps like this, we follow the WCG rules in terms of the game mode but we allow perks like clays and c4's and such also, unless the organizer's play COD4, they wont understand the F1 and F2 voting system la guys... right
so i see the new RnR for 5v5, but what abt the FFA? is the FFA thing gonna be 36 ppl dumped into those maps to fight among themselves to see whos top, and so called "King of COD4" or is there some sort of structure like there was for ACGC? what default classes will there be or can participants choose their own? also juzMarks u should update the 1st post with the new rules to make it easier for guys to see whats what.. |

Finally some peace?
Thank God. Holyboy, Rock Cafe is just right next to Sunway University College entrance, if u know where it is. There is a small complex of shoplots consisting of mostly Car Shops.. just turn right (if ur coming from sunway) or left (if ur coming from subang) into the shoplots and keep on going straight. U will see a huge food court with a big ass CC on top of it (also a huge ass "ROCK CAFE" sign ontop) hope this helps, but this is from a guys who has just been into sunway/subang area a handful of times, so dont blame me if u get lost |
