does the 28-02-08 shows the date for this firmware were updated?

hey..i also noticed in lelong.com.my they are selling garmin mobile xt in 1gb memory card for rm90,does that mean..its the original software with lifetime software upgrade or its a 1yr license? & no more extra service charged like the voice navigation thingy?

note:theres a huge price diff from this 2 site

i think it's a date..but i duno wat it's for

a lot of users here r using v2.29 including me

bout tat card, i duno but it shud b 1yr license which includes voice navigation
but if wif 1yr license then it's kind of cheap..and at the same time suspicious
it could b the ahem ver..which means he offer the installing and ahem-ing service
u better ask properly if u wana buy

I thought it says RM110 only? It's quite cheap, should I upgrade my card too? Just hate the hassle, all my install apps will be gone. Any idea how to change card but will not affect the phone? More than half of my 2GB is occupied with music, left 400MB for now.

1) Take out existing µSD. Use N82 "Remove Memory Card" option.
2) Plug in new µSD into N82 and format it. Ignore all apps errors at this moment.
3) Plug both µSD into PC and copy all files (including hidden & system files)
4) If you don't have two card readers, copy with care, don't open the folder/files in PC HDD, as it might create some unnecessary files like thumbs.db. Overwrite whatever in the formatted new card.
5) Plug the new µSD into N82, and all the apps should work as before.

Anyway to make sure I don't miss out hidden and system files? Will the 8GB's price go down soon by any chance? I know RM110 is already freaking cheap, but who doesn't want to save?

i think juz enable "show hidden files and folders" shud enable u to view all files and folders with hidden property
if u dun hv 2 card readers then juz copy everything from the existing card and put it in a folder first

8gb will definitely b cheaper..memory is getting cheaper..tat's wat my lecturer say and i 101% agree rofl

One 2nd floor Low Yat Plaza shop is selling SanDisk 8GB micro-SDHC at RM85. This unit only comes with card, without the USB converter/reader.

I guess the 16GB should be out anytime, and sell in PC Fair Dec'08 ?

im planning to get a telstra unit this afternoon...i've heard tat previously some of the AP sets are having battery life problem as in fake batteries are involved...any issues with telstra set?

so far i feel satisfied with my telstra unit~ no problem occurs~ nearly 3 months used, just hang 1 time~ battery life average 1.5 to 2 days~ no worries with telstra and it provides longest warranty (24 months)

just beware with the seller, make sure he/she didnt swap the accessory.

anyone n82 keypad is clean? i mean just without any chinese stroke, arabic or thai word?
