hi all.
i really cannot tolerate crimes and public nuisance. it happened in my neighbourhood. i have proof by taking videos. Also have posted to MPAJ to report the open air burning near my house Here is my personal blog address: Open air burning I am waiting for MPAJ to come to take action. QUOTE(Baronic @ Feb 4 2009, 01:12 AM) Just to inform 1) Just last week, while walking home from the park to my house in broad daylight around 6 pm, 5 minutes walk, i was listening to music with my headphones and holding my pda in my hand. I sorta heard a motor bike coming up from behind me, and i turned to look behind. Luckily i turned away from the main road, because as i did so, the motor bike sped just right past beside me, and the pillion rider's hands reached out and just missed snatching my PDA from me. Before i could get the number of the bike they sped away. They were wearing full face helmets. 2 )Tonight, a friend of mine was walking home from the university in Damansara Uptown not very far from TTDI, and she saw a bike coming towards her direction, and rather close to the curb, and her instincts kicked in. She started to move inwards and started to run, the area was dark and quiet. The bike stopped and the passenger got off and tried to snatch her handbag from her. She struggled for a bit and managed to get free and ran, and as she turned back for a bit, she saw the biker and the rider just standing there, selamba only. Shows that they're not newbies at this and have done this before and will probably strike again. She did not manage to get the number as it was dark and she was too busy running away. I suspect it may be the same two people who attacked me earlier. Have anyone had similar experiences around the same area, or close by? Do report in, seems to me like we have a local menace and pest. Should a police report be made? Please be careful when you're alone and in a dark area, and do not hold handphones etc in your hands. Be extra careful when u see a bike especially from behind or if u notice its coming too close to the curb. anyone else who had a similar experience also, dun take it for granted, please make a police report, so that they note that the crime rate in the area increase. At least there's a chance some actions would be taken |

Snatch thief cases are very very common and happens everyday. This is a crime by chance, meaning the snatch thieves will only do it when they see the opportunity presents itself, example see a girl walking alone somewhere. It is quite impossible to totally stop crimes like this because the snatch thief can be like a normal person riding a bike and if he had done nothing, there is no proof whatsoever. So what we can do? - be more vigilant, always on the look out especially walking in quiet places etc - avoid walking alone, especially at night - don't use handphone while walking - walk against traffic My personal experience, that I want to share A woman talking on the phone at Banana Leaf, Jalan Gasing, PJ. (near Catholic High School) She was talking and walking around, outside the shop, on the roadside, near tables that are placed outside A bike suddenly stopped nearby the shop and wait there Then, I saw another man walked near her, just grab her phone, ran towards the bike, hopped on...and bye bye~ The bike sped off, in the opposite direction of traffic (they probably did this to deter anyone to chase them in a car) At that time, mamak was quite full of people, alot of people sitting outside. But what can be done? Everyone just watch in shocked So be careful all, usually girls are targeted, this is not to say guys are 100% safe as well. |

LESSON LEARNT.. DONT PLAY CS WITH HEADPHONE'S than my dad quickly went on the lamp light the one on the gate and all. i quickly opened the wooden door i whacked him at his head with superior power of my strength one loud sound i heard and than his reaction after got hit by me was just like got hit by a pillow he can even picked up his cutter slowly while i was keep hitting his head like twice and he hitted me on my neck with his cutter. and dont know how hited my thumb nail. and it smashed. than i fall back than my dad rush to him he was trying to whack my dad and my dad snatched his cutter from his hand and whacked him back and he was running ad trying to climb out my house from the main gate. but than fail my dad pulled him back they both rolling on the floor than i quickly came back and whacked his head for like 5 times he doesnt seem to care or even block when i was hitting his head seriously hard he was just trying to let go from my dads hands holding his body. after that my dad let go he trying to climb over my neighbour house to escape i pulled him back than. i dont know somehow he pushed me back than he quickly climbed out from the gate again my dad was too late to pull him back dont have the right grip to pull and his legs are like moving here and there hard to grap hold of him and i manage to grap his leg that time but few seconds i cant stand already cause i've got no strength cause of my thumb nail smashed flowing all the blood at last he escaped left all his tools behind a big cutter, a crowar stick i dont knwo how to spell it (u can see it if you play half life instead of cs1.6 is the knife in half like its a stick thats the stick) and a long screw driver luckly he didnt hited me with that crowar stick or dont im dead! LOL his only a really small size fella like 5 feet only and skiny. and believe me. me and my dad whacked the hell out of him he didnt even made a small little noisy. his an indonesian i believe can saw in his face seriously he dont feel a damn thing when we both whacked him didnt even block! most probably on drugs or those indonesian sprit. I've read all the pages few moths back and had nothing to contribute for. But now I have one true incident that took place. Its a true story happened exactly 2 days before I posted this. It was a Sunday afternoon.
It was a Sunday afternoon and I decided to go to the bank to cash in some money. After cashing it, I decided to go to Tesco to buy some buns. Realizing that it was pretty crowded and was impossible for me to find a parking spot, I made up my mind to go back home. But first I'll have to enter to the parking ground to exit. That's where an incident I'll never forget took place. Cars were like bumper to bumper in the parking ground. Sitting in my car, I notice this boy and his grandmother(i assume cause it was an old woman) wanted to cross to the other end but have no chance because of the cars. After awhile, they given up hope to cross and walked a little bit straight up. When I'm already close to them, I stopped my car. The boy turned around and look. I flashed my light indicating for him to cross. So he guided his grandma all the way through. He put up his hands once smiling. I just nod. Again he did that while crossing. So I raise my hand and smile back. Once they got to the other side, he hold up his grandma and turned around again putting his hand up, giving a happy-sad-thankful smile. I smiled back with my hand raised. What is so great is, I've learned that people are sometimes so thankful for the smallest thing they get. Even by just getting the chance to cross from one end to the other. Do something good. It would cost you nothing but for the people you've helped, it surely meant something. |

Lesson learnt, if he didn't take anything and just trying to escape; Let him go. They know your address etc, you know nothing about them. You're in a loss-loss situation.

Is there a quote of quotes that does not advocate religious and sensitive issues, and be accepted universally?
I came up with this on my own, from the inspiration from many people: "People are not perfect, but none of us are allowed to be less from how less perfect we already are. When people tell you that people are not perfect due to the mistakes people can do, they are being ignorant to those who are real and so close to being perfect, effectively becoming rather superior in many areas compared to the ones who are far from being close to perfect. This may sound arrogant and triumphalistic, but one can even master those two vices, he can be perfect, if not, be the testimony that being imperfect is never the excuse for mistakes." ------- Deadlocks, the questionable but existent philosopher (but questionable, nonetheless, especially when the title "philosopher is self-proclaimed). Other quotes include: "People always have things that never go well. These things will eventually decline, but at a very slow, downward rate. If the individual decides to be ignorant, he/she will continue to decline with the things that were declining with them, simultaneously. Here's the catch. Even if the individivual decides to be proactive and take action instead of being ignorant, the things that were declining will rush its downtrodden path is even faster and deeper, possibly making things worse than before. If one is able to survive the ordeal, the decline immediately teleports itself to the top, making things better than ever before, possible even better than what was to be expected. If he/she fails the ordeal instead, the things revert itself back to the first word of this long quote." ------- Inspired by Batman: The Dark Knight "Every philosopher or anyone who loves philosophy should read the article about philosophers from Uncyclopedia. Just in case one of you lost your touch with reality. "Everything has a price. Even the price of being perfect." "Those who think that only God can judge them, are judging the rest of humanity".
