QUOTE(sarvinG @ Mar 1 2011, 01:05 AM) I've read all the pages few moths back and had nothing to contribute for. But now I have one true incident that took place. Its a true story happened exactly 2 days before I posted this. It was a Sunday afternoon. Only works with people with morals. It was a Sunday afternoon and I decided to go to the bank to cash in some money. After cashing it, I decided to go to Tesco to buy some buns. Realizing that it was pretty crowded and was impossible for me to find a parking spot, I made up my mind to go back home. But first I'll have to enter to the parking ground to exit. That's where an incident I'll never forget took place. Cars were like bumper to bumper in the parking ground. Sitting in my car, I notice this boy and his grandmother(i assume cause it was an old woman) wanted to cross to the other end but have no chance because of the cars. After awhile, they given up hope to cross and walked a little bit straight up. When I'm already close to them, I stopped my car. The boy turned around and look. I flashed my light indicating for him to cross. So he guided his grandma all the way through. He put up his hands once smiling. I just nod. Again he did that while crossing. So I raise my hand and smile back. Once they got to the other side, he hold up his grandma and turned around again putting his hand up, giving a happy-sad-thankful smile. I smiled back with my hand raised. What is so great is, I've learned that people are sometimes so thankful for the smallest thing they get. Even by just getting the chance to cross from one end to the other. Do something good. It would cost you nothing but for the people you've helped, it surely meant something. Some people just couldn't care less. When I'm driving if I'm not in a hurry , I will let cars or people go through. It's always feel better to do something good. |
