THat kinda hard for me to explain how the bill for promo works since I'm only taking package only.

Could you list down the details of your first and second bill?
*
1st bill : payment detail
Cash Payment (Dealer Portal) 15/07/2008 -258.00

One Time Charges
Stamp 10.00

Monthly Charges
Package Value-Prorate 15/07/2008 to 12/08/2008 120.68
Package Value 13/08/2008 to 12/09/2008 129.00

Current Charges 259.68

Total Amount Due 1.70

I have no problem with the 1st bill..i can understand well...means the payment i made is for the usage until 12/09/2008 rite?
Then the 2nd bill:
Monthly Charges 13/09/2008 to 12/10/2008 129.00

Current Charges 129.00

Total Amount Due 130.70

the bill date for this is 13/09/2008

Why i was asked to pay for the usage from 13/09/2008 to 12/10/2008 while i havent use it yet??
if like this it is considered prepaid not postpaid oredy...

Anyone using celcom bb at Tanah Merah? Going to move there soon so need to find out what is the most appropriate package for me.. Some said it useless to get 3.6Mbps package over there.. is it true?

Also, did u guys normally exceed the 5GB bandwidth limitation?

tonyvyp, celcom sent billing in advance. I think everyone using data only already recieved bil for this month + next month. the amount is fix. celcom assume user not terminate the service during billing cycle.

u can paid now, wait before tarikh akhir or before 12/11/2009. two month unpaid bill line cut.

For people who staying at Subang Jaya SS19, the speed is good/ok only during period of early morning till 2 or 3 pm. After that the speed is suck, either you will need to download a 100mb file with required the time of 4, 5 hours to complete and it will some time auto DC. mad.gif

Better pay the bill before your line get suspended or may end by paying the penalty.

if you terminate within the contract period, you need to return back the modem.

Now i'm using celcom 3G but connect through 3G phone. The problem is when i see the 3G connnectivity on my phone. Sometimes the 3g icon appear and sometimes it dissapear. Is that mean the 3G connection is weak in my area? Will a 3G/HSPDA modem get a stronger 3G signal compared to handphones?

The only problem i face with Celcom is that sometimes if i leave it idle for a few hours it will disconnect by itself and i can`t connect back, cause it will say no wireless network detected...but when i restart my pc its back to normal again...Anyone got any ideas why this happens ?...

it's my 4th day of using D98 package.. so far so good, UMTS at PD (my kampung), HSDPA at workplace, but gprs at my house (huhuhuh)

just curious, just now i clicked the volume statictic button at huawei dashboard and the statistic displayed totally freaks my out...

total sent 4.2gb
total received 8.9gb
duration 61.47.22

from the look of it, i think i already exceeds the 5gb limit right? how to know the line is capped or not? if capped, at what speed will it be? 384kbps?? plz help

If use phone, it may reduce the phone lifespan because of too much net activity. Better grab the standalone modem.

It happens on me, sudden disconnection. But when pinging continuously, it will keep the line active

The speed may even lower than that. Just check if there's any sudden speed changes during downloading.
